Close to city, walking distance to some nice attractions, great breakfast & convenient parking included. Staff was helpful and accommodating, especially upon arrival and when expedia caused a mix-up. Pool open early and late so we didn’t have to rush for the kids to swim.

I was happy with the Hampton Inn. The front desk was helpful and friendly - but when I arrived there was just one person on the desk, with a line of customers waiting to check in. After a bit a second desk person arrived, who I think had been on break. The common areas and my room were clean and well maintained. My room was clean and comfortable, athough with a bit of spartan aesthetic. I didn't get around the neighboring area much. There are some impressive looking buildings nearby, but also scruffier streets as you head away from the river. The included breakfast was quite good with a reasonable number of food choices. Parking was included in the room rate - in an "overflow" lot on the neighboring property. It was a little difficult maneuvering in the lot, and it wasn't clear how to get out again (I had to hit the intercom for help). There were "you're at your own risk" signs posted, leading me to wonder if there were a history of lot security problems.

Had a great stay, front desk was not upfront when explaining billing information and had amounts not discussed on my car and when I called to request extra bath towel and washcloth I was given an estimated time of 15-20 min, even offered to come to the front desk to retrieve and she insisted on bringing them to me but no one ever came..
