Best retreat at a great price!Posted Jul 25, 2015
Me and my family chose this place as our summer mini getaway and we enjoyed every little thing about it!! Weve been to more expensive places and never gotten, the satisfaction we found there. We checked out thinking and planning when to go back. Just what we needed.

Perfect for a getawayPosted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Food, location
Location: There is nothing else out there, so go and expect to stay and eat at the hotel. Need a car to travel
I traveled with two kids and just wanted a one night stay with a relaxing view. Hotel exceeded my expectations. Beach is very calm, so my one year old came and went with ease. Beach is beautiful, perfect setting for a beach wedding. All three meals were deserving of price and quality and staff was very nice.

Con GustoPosted Jun 23, 2015
Pros: family setting with great beach
Cons: cell phone and wyfi service was spotty
Location: next door to a nice publc beach. very snaky road leading to hotel. Many available activities nearby.
picked this resort because it was close to town where we had a class reunion. I found I was looking for excuses to skip the reunion activities and just enjoy the resort. the pools and beach were great, but the best part of our stay was the service with a sincere smile always.

Nice view and pools. Beach not swimmablePosted May 31, 2015
The hotel rooms here remind me of a beach house. They have a back door with wood paneling and a nice patio. The ground seem to be well maintained. You are likely to see a lot of smaller lizards. The worst part about this hotel for me was the beach. The water is very shallow and covered with seaweed. If you try really hard you might be able to get out far enough to dunk your head into the water. You have to walk about 150+ yards down to the edge of the public beach park next door to get to a swimmable area. And it is not very deep either, less than 6 feet.

Removed Island GetawayPosted May 19, 2015
Pros: I liked the proximity to the water from their Oceanfront rooms as well as the short island hop to "Gilligan's Island" and the amazing bioluminescent s
Cons: They need more front desk staffing. At least 2 people during classis business hours. I spent a lot of time waiting to talk to someone. There's no r
Location: The location is scenic and quiet (which is what we were looking for). Outside of the hotel organized activities, there really isn't anything else to
I booked this hotel for my wife because it was on the west side of Puerto Rico and secluded from the hustle and bustle of any city. It was also removed from even the small towns of the island via a long, winding road.

Nice Getaway!!Posted May 18, 2015
We (husband & I) enjoyed our week at the resort. It was not crowded and quiet for the most part. The walls are a little thin so we could hear the kids staying in the room next to us screaming on the weekend. That was annoying but it was only two days on the weekend, when a lot more people were there. We loved the seclusion from everything and everyone. It was serene, which is what I wanted. :-) The beach at the resort is not very swimable, there's a lot of seaweed everywhere and it's kind of shallow but it's just so peaceful and beautiful. If you want a beach, you can drive (or walk) about two miles down the road, until it ends, and you can get some waves. You can also catch the ferry to go to Gilligans island, which is a very nice little place but try to get there early on the weekends because it does get super crowded. During the week, it's not as crowded, which is fantastic!!! Also, a must is the bioluminescent bay tour, it is an absolutely stunning experience!! We LOVED it and the Capt of the boat was awesome! If you are looking for a real getaway from reality, on a somewhat tight budget, this place is spectacular!!! I would love to visit again!!!! :-)

Peaceful ResortPosted May 14, 2015
Although we could not swim oceanfront because it is not deep enough and had seaweed we swam in the two pools and used the one hot tub. We did three excursions with the resort and adventured out with a rental car. The room was clean. The staff was very friendly and very perceptive about our very limited ability to speak Spanish.
