Helpful manager who moved us to another room with a functioning TV. Great ocean-side view was highlight of this economically priced room. Close to grocery store. Busy street and no fan to run for white noise.

Property is old and dated. Room needs a more secure lock. Room did not have have an AC unit, and we did not feel comfortable leaving the windows open overnight, and definitely not open when we were not there. This made it so that the room was very stuffy. Staff was nice, but using an old registration system that meant that they were not prepared for our check in and initially gave us the wrong paperwork. The city lost power because of a local fire, which was not the hotels fault, however it would have been good to be notified about the outage before arriving back to a powerless room. We have to have power to run medical devices, so a heads up would have been nice so we could find somewhere else to stay for the night.

We booked it that evening knowing we would need to stop somewhere in the Crescent City area, and knowing there might not be any rooms left if we didn’t book ahead. Luckily we arrived at approx 11:50pm and got checked in before he turned in for the night! He and his wife were very kind and gracious through the whole check in check out process. Our only issues: bathroom was really small, the microwave hadn’t been cleaned out from someone’s cup-o-noodle boil over mess, and there was a little mildew on the shower curtain - but it’s an older building. Overall we were happy with our stay!

Hot shower & clean bed linens. Thin walls, mold & mildew, paint scratched off throughout the room. My allergies & asthma would act up whenever we were in the room...it smelled & felt musty.

The shower wasnt very good. The water wouldn't drain, was standing in ankle deep water. Refrigerator wasnt working, finally got it to get cold. Very noisy being on busy main street right by the stoplight.

Wonderful Hotel
Great location! Great Price! Bike/Walking/Park/Beach just across the street. Hotel was full but quiet even tho we slept in and they were housekeeping. Farmers Market you can walk to on Wed and Sun. Alice and Nathan take pride in this Hotel and make sure it is a wonderful friendly experience. They remind you that if you need anything at all, they are there for you. Super experienced, diligent hard working. I was going to come alone, then my husband decided to quit working and go with me. Alice was able to upgrade our room to an ocean view, so we could just relax and we extended our stay an extra night. Just wonderful!!!

This was an adorable place. Very quaint and looks nice from outside. Inside was so nice and clean. Our room had an extra little bedroom for our daughter to stay in. The landscaping was pretty and patio tables/chairs are scattered around with lights. We walked to the deck and enjoyed the evening, watching and listening to the river. If we ever come back this way, we will definitely stay here. We loved it. 😊❤️
