Convenient location

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Convenient location, free parking
Cons: The building is old, but what can you expect from the price they charge.
Location: Centrally located, close to restaurants (high end down to fast food places) & entertainment.
It is in a convenient location close to restaurants, entertainments. Modest price for a hotel in the Fisherman's Wharf and offers free parking, however it is a very basic hotel in an older building and you should not expect a fancy service or room. We stayed for two nights and did not have problems with noise after 11:00 p.m. and the beds were comfortable that we slept fairly well. We were not looking for friendly staff, so I'm not sure how friendly they are but the office offers free coffee.

good deal for the Wharf

Posted Jun 18, 2014
Pros: price and location
Cons: renovate... But it looked like they were starting to.
Location: It's 1 block from the Wharf. and walking distance to Lil Itally n(north Beach)
We were at the Raddison across the street. I asked what they would do keep us another night. They said there normal rate. We went across the street to the Wharf Inn and saved over 100$. the accomadations were more then fare at the Wharf Inn.

Within easy walking distance of wharf 39

Location: The hotel was very handy it was within walking distance of everything that you would want, shops, restaurants, cable cars, trams etc,
We had a good time there was a tour operator on one corner which was very handy, and also the city tour bus started on the opposite side of the street

Good budget hotel, on Fishermans Wharf

Good, clean hotel. No pretensions, basic and a bit old fashioned, but good value. Excellent, helpful staff. Fre parking and free wifi. Shower pressure not great, beds really comfy. No a/c, but not so hot when we stayed. Don't know what it would be like in a heatwave. V close to seafront, public transport of all sorts, ferries, Alcatraz, great restaurants. Free coffee, tea and chocolate 24/7, 7 Eleven just over street, good diner on Beach next street up. Couldn't fault it really. We felt we got what we paid for.
