Great place

Great value for money. Owners very pleasant and helpful. Is a slight way out of town but with a scooter or quad you can literally visit the entire island in one day. Would stay there again!

Best Service

Family owned hotel and the staff is wonderful! They are very helpful, attentive, extraordinarily hospitable and eager to please. The rooms are quaint and well furnished. The hotel is located in Messaria, a few minutes from Fira, the main city. It is central to the island (since Fira is on the western coast) and is midway between all the major sites and cities. The pool is nice and the hotel itself is picturesque. The only downsides to the hotel--small bathrooms---minuscule shower and its a bit dusty if you leave the windows/doors open.

Great base for exploring

Pros: Staff and cleanliness. Free wifi.
Cons: The hill to the hotel!
Location: useful for reaching all the different places of interest.
My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The has everything you need, is very clean and well maintained. The hotel is central and within 5 minutes walk of the major bus routes of the island. The public transport is cheap but not 100% reliable and you may want to hire a quad, bike or car to make the most of the central location and ample parking near the hotel. We made us of the public transport but to get the most out of your time a hire car is recommended. The nearby resort of Kamari is 10 minutes by bus and great for the beach, meals out or a casual drink. The outdoor cinema there is a must. Fira is equally easy to each from using the bus stop near the hotel. The staff here are very friendly and happy to assist with any planning without trying to sell 'greek nights' as is often the case in other hotels! I would recommend this hotel to those that are likely to want to explore. Beach bums may prefer to stay in Kamari or Perissa.

far from town, not much going on, basic rooms

Posted Aug 31, 2011 on Hotels.com
I have a motocycle the entire time but still felt the hotel is too far from the town. The room was bad aand the bed was just unsleepable. However it was nice my room was close to the loddby so I was able to get the free wifi. The owners (or mangers) hides the air condition romotes so you have to ask to check out the remote to turn on the air.

I will love to have WiFi into my room. They have less than a Kilometer a Carrefour so it is just great.
