Very friendly, clean, and I would definitely return.it was a bit more of a ride to the river street but well worth the time. Great hotel indoor pool and spa skylight above it. Awesome time

Convenient location, horrible stay
Posted Jan 8, 2013
Pros: location. Right off I-95 but with easy access to downtown Savannah
Cons: Cold pool my daughter couldn't swim in and the itchy bedding.
Location: only good thing. Off I-95 and easy access to downtown Savannah
The indoor heated pool was ice cold with the excuse that they had just finished "renovations" but to look around the pool area it didn't look like it had been renovated in years. The room was dirty, the bedding itchy (though no signs of bedbugs it sure felt like it), and the small bathroom looked like a fast food restaurant restroom.

TERRIBLE, OLD HOTEL
Posted Jan 19, 2013
Pros: NOTHING
WE CHECKED INTO OUR HOTEL AND THE ROOM WAS HORRIBLE. THE SMELL WAS SUPER DUPER BAD. THE TOILET WAS STOPPED UP AND WE IMMEDIATELY CALLED FOR ASSISTANCE, THE GUY CAME BUT IT WAS STILL STOPPED UP AFTERWARDS. THE SINK WAS STOPPED UP FROM FRIDAY WHEN WE CHECKED IN UP UNTIL SUNDAY. WE CONTINUOUSLY CALLED AND ASKED FOR SOMEONE TO COME CHECK BUT NO ONE EVER CAME. I TOOK A PICTURE AND SHOWED IT TO THE CLERK WHEN WE CHECKED OUT. OVERALL EXPERIENCE ----BAD! DONT STAY HERE.

Everything was great my only complaint was the shower turning hot to cold every few minutes. Other than that it was an excellent stay.

Room was filthy and, though non-smoking, reeked of smoke and had cigarette burns on the carpet and bedspread. A kind front desk clerk moved us to a cleaner room, but it still left much to be desired. I definitely would not stay here again.

A hotel to choose as a last resort

I booked this hotel for the indoor hot tub. Then two days before my stay I learn the hot tub will be down for maintenance for 90 days or more. I called Expedia to see about changing rooms so they called the hotel to cpnfirm the hot tub is down. Hotel said the hot tub is fine and running. You guessed it. The next day i check in and the hot tub is out of order. The room could of used some upkeep. The breakfast was full of bread, bread and more bread. It did have coffee and something they say was OJ. The front desk clerk at check out could use a swift class in customer service. It was almost like she was doing us a favor allowing us to check out. As to the location. The hotel is settled amongst close to 20 or more other hotels.Right off the Interstate. Overall there are many choices in this area. Some of them at a much lower price and most with much better service. I do not recommend staying here.

Front desk personnel was very friendly but our room was old and bizarre with the shower in the bedroom next to one of the beds.

The room had a musty smell to it. The toilet needed to be repaired. It leaking the whole time we were there. When checking out in the morning the was nobody at the front desk for over 5 minutes. Another customer finally called the front desk from her cell phone and the front desk clerk got up from the breakfast area where she had been sitting to come check the 3 people standing there out.

Room for improvement
Posted Jan 23, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel was located in a central location in close proximity to restaurants. Our toilet in our room backed up, and we were told that maintenance wasn't available until the next day. They offered to move us but it was midnight and we were settled in. The next morning the front desk said maintenance didnt come in until 11. My husband had to plunge it himself. It took an act of Congress to get towels and washcloths. Our room was on the first floor and had a sliding door to the parking lot. The curtains were sheer, and didnt hide anything. I did like being near the indoor pool and spa. Needless to say we will not stay here again.
