The hotel is in a convent location. Easy to walk to nearby restaurants and stores. Close to the river. There is a lot of noise from the traffic. Even on the 5th floor I felt like we were sitting in the middle of rush hour. Staff was very nice and accommodating.

I don’t typically write reviews, but we had such an amazing time staying here! From the moment we walked in the front desk staff was so kind and helpful. I wouldn’t say that the building was outdated because everything in Savannah is historic in some sense. The room was spacious and clean. It was walkable to everything and we did not use our car once. The valet is $45/night, but we found the self park Best Western lot right next door for $35/night (Sorry DoubleTree, but we’re going to save where we can! Haha). We had a room overlooking Bay Street and it was a bit noisy at night, but everything else outweighed the noise. Overall, 10/10 experience! Thank you so much!
