You get what you pay for

Posted Jan 19, 2015
Pros: My husband liked the pillows.
Cons: Cleaner, more parking, more information at check in
Over all, for what we needed (a place to stay for the night on our long ride home), it was fine. The bed was comfortable and we were able to get some sleep. However, the whole building didn't really give off a "clean" vibe, it just seems dingy. The door handle was coming off of our bathroom door, I was nervous I'd get trapped in there. The doors to the rooms provide little sound proofing and you could hear anyone in the hallway perfectly. When we checked in, we were handed a key and that was about it...no telling us where the elevator was, when breakfast would be served and until when or any other information. There was no clue in the hotel room either. Luckily it is easy enough to figure out/breakfast was still available by the time we came down from our room. They also have barely any parking.

Don't advertise free wi-fi if you don't have it.

Posted Jan 18, 2015
Pros: It was clean. The rate was good.
Cons: Fix the wi-fi, have a "do not disturb" sign for the door ( had to tell the housekeeping staff to come back later twice in the morning ),
Location: Hard to find after a long day's drive.
I needed to send a few emails during my stay at the Sleep Inn and Suites in Pooler, GA. The wi-fi signal from my third floor room was practically non-existent. The connection would be there for 20 seconds and then disappear for minutes. I called the front desk, who rebooted the router. After waiting 20 minutes, there was no change. I took my iPad out into the hall- no change. Walked down to the first floor- no change. Asked the front desk clerk where in the hotel I could connect. He was clearly clueless. If you advertise free wi-fi then have an IT person install it, make sure that there are repeaters throughout the facility and regularly verify that it works. If you can't do that, then don't advertize it as an amenity.

Decent for the price

Overall a decent room. Sheets were worn and rhe lampshades were damaged which made the room feel old. It was clean which made it worth the price.

Convenient to interstate

Posted Dec 29, 2014
I would like to receive a refund. I arrived at about 5:30 pm and went to sleep to be awakened by the people above me. My room number was 223 and it was very noisy. My whole family could not sleep and were awake from 930 to 230 with people running and slamming doors. I called the desk 2 times and the problem continued so we were forced to leave with no sleep.

Great stop over

Posted Dec 2, 2014
Just needed a clean room, hot shower, sleep and a bite to eat before getting back on the road. Everything was great. Easy check in, clean room, hot shower, comfortable bed. Nothing special and breakfast was a waffle. I was a little disappointed there weren't any bananas but other than that minor issue, my needs were well met.
