Pretty dark area

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: Easy to find, from the highway
Location: Right of the highway. Nothing to do nearby
From the map, I thought it would be more in Cocoa. But it is just off the highway, so ideally if you are just passing thru. Dinner or food are at least 5 miles away. But you get a nice hot breakfast in the cafe. Nice swimming pool

Trip to Kennedy Space Centre

Posted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Rooms were a bit shabby. Breakfast staff were more than busy so we had a bit of a wait.
Location: This place is located next to the I95 highway and was ideal for an overnight stoppover between Daytona Raceway and Kennedt Space Centre
We needed somewhere to stay overnight between trips to Daytona Raceway and Kennedy Space Centre. Staff were friendly and very helpful. The motel itself had seen better days, but was very reasonably priced and OK for an overnight stay.

Old and Dirty

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Arrived late after race rain delay in Daytona. Hotel grounds were dirty with piles of trash and pizza boxes in corners of outdoor hallways. Needed breakfast at 7:00 am sharp to get back to race but restaurant wasn't open on time.

Cons: a lot of improvements need to be made
Location: location was perfect
The night stand had not been cleaned out, had a birth certificate and other personal items in it. Phones did not work in the room. There were no towels in the room. I was double billed for the room. Restaurant was a terrible deal. Very expensive for a dump.

Hotel close enough to Carnival cruise ship

Posted May 29, 2014
Pros: price & location
Cons: Breakfast needed lots of improvements
Location: 15 minutes max to the cruise ships
We were only staying here because other hotels closer to the port were booked. I felt the room was clean enough but I don't like my hotel door being outside. I prefer to go inside the hotel to my room. I feel safer that way. Seemed to be in a ok neighborhood. Didn't even see the pool but did eat the free breakfast.....HORRIBLE!

It's OK, if saving $$ is your priority.

Pros: Free breakfast. Next to the offramp. Cheap.
Cons: Update the room (new carpet / etc). Expand the breakfast selection to include some fruit or other healthier options.
Location: Not much very close nearby. Kennedy Space Center, Patrick AFB, Cocoa & Cocoa Beach are all 30 mins away or less.
No surprises during my visit. I was needing to stay overnight, and even though my flight was late and I arrived at 1 am, I had no issues checking in and the staff was friendly. The room is not near any resorts or touristy places, but I didn't care because I was there for business in the local area. The carpet was old, but the fridge, microwave, tv, A/C, all worked fine. Standard bar soap with shampoo was available. The free breakfast was at a in-house sit-down restaurant type place. Self-serve coffee/tea, and your choice from a limited hot breakfast menu (two free breakfast tickets per room). If you're looking for pretty scenery and luxury, don't stay here. If you're looking for someplace to rest your head without losing an arm and a leg, then this place works.

GROSS!!

Posted Apr 21, 2014
Pros: The staff was friendly.
Location: There is nothing near this hotel and it costs $25+ one way to get a taxi to a restaurant.
This hotel is disgusting!!! It is outdated and had a weird smell to it. The shower had mold every where. It is in a terrible location, absolutely nothing anywhere around it except one gas station next door so we spent more money on taxis going into Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral than I spent on the actual room. I was so disappointed with this hotel. It does not represent the Days Inn name well at all! We didn't even feel safe leaving our bags in the room while we were out. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!! Spend the extra money on a nicer place, it was not worth it at all!!!!

Looking over the pool

Posted Apr 20, 2014
Nice and comfortable staff was quickly with our room and giving good directions where the room was located and information on what the hotel has to offer overall I would stay there again when I visit cocoa Florida.
