There was a rude receptionist, but the rest of the staff were great.

Easy to find front

Posted Apr 11, 2015
Place is easy to find and the front desk staff were friendly but the room they first tried to place me in wasn't cleaned and the second needed new carpet and I noticed before checking out that there was something on the wall near there mini refrigerator.

Close to the port

Nice hotel for a over night stay. We stayed one night prior to our cruise. You get a 40% voucher for parking at the terminal. The only bad thing was a tour bus came in and the two Hispanic tour guide people were terribly rude to those of us waiting in line and the staff.

Excellent value budget motel

Posted Mar 28, 2015
Pros: The rooms looking out over the garden rather than the more usual car park The price
This motel has a number of rooms that overlook the gardens and the pool. The pool is well kept as are the gardens and there is seating at the pool. Our room was large and clean with comfortable beds. There was a microwave and fridge. The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. Breakfast was hot and had four free choices and the opportunity to add to the free breakfast for a small tariff. There was plenty of help your self tea and coffee available all day. It is convienient for a stop as it is just off the I95 but is still close to Cocoa Beach, The Kennedy Space Centre, Merritt Island and Titusville. About 4 miles away are shops such as walmart.

Stop over enroute to Hollywood

Posted Mar 24, 2015
Pros: THE POOL!!!!!
Cons: It is great for a quick overnighter
This was just an overnight quick stop while we waited for others to join us to our final destination of Hollywood, FL. I was especially surprised by the pool! It was clean and well landscaped!! The free breakfast was a plus too. Hotel staff was super pleasant and helpful!

Once we got moved to a decent room, it was okay. The first room we were assigned had previous guests' food in it, and other items like beer in the refrigerator, etc. We asked the hotel staff to switch rooms, and they did so kindly. Our room we ended up staying in was not bad. It was cleaned daily, and was fully equipped with the normal hotel items. We did, however, experience some bugs running around the floors of our room, which kinda freaked me out, but we stayed regardless. The coffee is not good, but it's free, so what else is there to expect? The breakfast was pretty good, and also free, but if you have a hungry man in your life, it won't fill him up, so I recommend eating the free breakfast if you have children or don't eat very much.

Good for what it's for

Posted Mar 18, 2015
Pros: friendly staff, good breakfast
Cons: it would be nice if the cleaning staff had consistantly cleaned our room while we were there
Location: the only thing near by was the ball park
We stayed here to visit the Nationals Spring Training. The hotel is a big bowl of OK. It was clean, the beds were comfortable enough, the location was good for us. The breakfast was actually really good but we only took advantage of it a couple times because it's a sit down and order breakfast and sometimes all we really wanted was to grab a donut, some coffee and go. The front desk staff was very nice. We did have a problem getting our room cleaned. We would come back and find that no one had come in our room to take the trash or leave towels. That was disappointing.

Cheap stay

With Days Inn you pretty much get what you pay for.. The hotel/motel is small, the rooms are rather small with a very basic setup and amenities; however they did have free wifi which was great. There is a nice little pool, however not much else.. The hotel is located a drive away from everything remotely interesting. The beach was about 20 minutes away, so that was worth the drive.
