Older but very clean

Posted Sep 10, 2014
Location: Zion / Kolob / Red Cliff
This is an older hotel. But, they are undergoing new management. The room is older but clean. Towels / sheets / counters / refrigerator / microwave / shower -- very clean. I stayed there 4 nights to visit Zion and Red Cliff. They gave me a discount on the 2 dogs. Daily housekeeping. Staff is very friendly. Their breakfast is decent - various muffins / bagels / breads / cereals / canned fruits / fresh fruits / yogurts / biscuits & gravy. I will definitely stay again.

Stayed one night

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: close to where we were going in the area
Cons: The furniture (chairs) were stained - we did not want to sit on them
Location: visit family
We were really only at the hotel to sleep - we also ate the breakfast there

We passed trough St. George to go to the South. It was Very easy to find it. The hotel is comfortable and the room is clean. The free breakfast is good. The staff have been Very polite. The downtown is near and we had dinner there Very good too.

Would not stay there again!

Door jamb was broke and we didn't feel like we were locked in. Very dirty and run down. They didn't even stock the toilet paper because they ran out! The white towels were very dirty.

Great hotel for the price!!

This is not a 5 star hotel, but for price it is nice... The staff was extremely helpful and kind... The pool was a salt water pool, my family has never swam in one before and we loved it, it was also one of the cleanest pools I have ever had at a hotel!! We were very pleased with our stay ☺

Pros: The kids had fun in the pool
Cons: Most everything. It needs a overhaul and a good top to bottom cleaning. The carpets are filthy. Linens are old.
Hotel room was very dirty. Pillows very old and flat, went to Walmart and bought my own to sleep on. The carpets need to be shampooed. Baseboards, carpet around the edges of the room and under the bed could use an occasion vacuuming. Don't walk barefoot on the carpet on the floor. I had to scrub the kids feet after 5 min. of walking on the carpet. They were totally Black! The upholstered chairs had stains all over them. Don't want to think about what I was sleeping on! On the upside, the staff was friendly and accommodating and the free breakfast was ok.

Bathroom not clean, stain on linens, asked for a extra pillow (to help with the board of a pillow already provided), told they don't have extra pillows. Dissappointing for the money (approx. $80 bucks a night)!!!!

Cons: Could be cleaner.
I have bad knees and asked for a ground floor room, but was not accommodated. It was 107 degrees outside at 12:00 but wasn't allowed to check in early. The bed was wonderful. but the room needed a deep cleaning.
