You get what you pay for!

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: see above
Cons: see above
Location: As far as location it was great, close to Pioneer park and snow canyon as well as shopping and dining.
Sadly, this motel could opt to spend a little money and charge more per room. But, if cheap is what you want that is what you get, though I would expect better still! The rooms are spacious and each room has a small fridge and microwave so there is potential. Room 103 had some problems: 1. Someone else's dirty sock was on the floor next to the bed and the bathroom door and wall around the light switch were dirty with smudged finger and toes prints. I bet the sock is still under the bed where I kicked it. 2. The lights either didn't have working bulbs or were so old the switches were hard to work. 3. wall outlets...so old that whatever you plugged in fell back out. 4. Curtains were torn, holy and broken. Also, they were black out curtains with no privacy sheer behind them so if you did manage to get them open to enjoy some light there was nothing over the window. 5. AC was so loud that I dreamed someone was in the room working with power tools. Every time it kicked on it would wake us up. 6. Who uses bedspreads anymore? Knights Inn does. No extra bedding and only 2 very thin pillows per bed. The sheets did appear clean. 7. The pool is small but nice, would be better if there were more than 4 lounge chairs and it is large enough to accommodate more. I'm sure I am missing something and hope they will make some upgrades.

Central location but aged motel

Posted Apr 8, 2015
Pros: Location.
Cons: Everything but location.
Location: Outlet factory mall, food, shopping, recreation.
We stayed during a busy weekend when many of the hotels around were sold out. I now understand why this one was not. Although the price was "reasonable" and it is close to the boulevard, shopping, and food, the hotel has not been updated in probably over 25 years. The room was not very clean, we found chips and stains from other previous guests. The walls are thin and there were complaints about hearing normal activities in the other rooms. The staff seemed put out to help and not very welcoming or accommodating. Our remote did not work and I had to take the remote, for the old CRT TV I might add, to the front desk 3 times to get it to work, and I felt I was putting the woman clerk out each time. Why someone could not come to the room, I'm not sure. Guessing they need to stay at the desk, but nothing a "Be right back" sign couldn't solve. Not like it's THAT busy at the desk. The pool was freezing and unheated even though it's stated to be heated, which during summer months would be fine, but in spring and fall, not comfortable at all. And the Continental breakfast? Let's just say we opted to eat out because there was nothing fresh out. Unless you like a tub of cold cereal. There were a mix of guests, some families, but there were also a few rooms that seemed to have extended stay guests, room renters, and although it is listed as non-smoking, many stood outside the rooms to smoke which requires you to walk through when going to your room. Not a pleasant stay.

Water in the shower tub stuck up. Request for changing to another room but the staff said it was the same for every room

Cons: A bit noisy here and there but not bad.
Nice place close to town center. Nothing fancy but all you really need.

Do not stay here

Posted Mar 31, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Gut it and start new.
Location: Other great motels
No sleep terrible bed, dirty linen, TV didn't work so missed the Utes game and dirty room. If cereal, a little roll and no coffee is a continental breakfast I guess it says it all. We got all this for $100, terrible deal. I have rented low budget before not ever this bad. When I walk on the carpet in my socks they were dirtier than walking outside.

Will not stay again

Posted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: We booked it because of the price. Next time I will spend more to get better facilities.
Cons: Almost everything can be improved.
Knight's Inn was clean, but the facilities were old. The mattress was saggy and the sheets were not crisp. I had three lamps in the room but there were no light bulbs in two of them. The bathroom needed an update very badly. I would not recommend the motel to my friends or family. I got down to breakfast at 8:00 and there was nothing but juice and cold cereal.

convenient location - close to ball games.

Posted Mar 15, 2015
Pros: It was clean and convenient location for what we needed
Cons: For Breakfast there could at least have been flavored oatmeal. A muffin - not just a donut.
The towels were just about like burlap (gunny sacks) very thin and rough. The pillows were so not there that it was like not using one at all. The breakfast was very very sparse
