The room we were given had very dim lighting -- there were 3 lamps that worked and one that didn't. Even so, it was a very dimly lit room and very depressing to be staying in. Most of the time when we've been at Quality Inns, we have been given better lit rooms. This room was also smaller than what we have been given in the past, for three people. We were very disappointed in the accommodations this time. We also booked our room on Hotels.com and paid for the room on December 12th, 2014. However, when we checked out of the hotel on December 25, 2014, we were charged again! We are still waiting to hear that the second payment has been credited. Why the check out clerk charged us a SECOND TIME, I don't understand. When questioned about it, he denied any other charge to our account!

Cons: Exercise Room equipment with only three machines due to size
Staff was accomodating. Provided regular breakfast where many motels/ hotels provided only a continental breakfast. Room were clean and furniture spaciously arranged.

Pros: The people were very nice. Breakfast was adequate. The room was quiet, and the beds were comfortable.
Cons: The heating unit was either freezing or too hot. The sink in the bathroom leaked all over the counter.
Location: Marine base, and lots of shopping.
We came in a 2 in the morning. The clerk went out of his way to find us something. The room said up to four people, but the set up did not have an extra sitting area, so getting everyone ready in time was a bit off. Toiletries were not replaced upon room cleaning. The room was freezing when we arrived.

I spent some few days in this hotel and I had a good time. I would stay again anytime I come to VA. The area was also strategic which allowed me to shop at anytime of the day- just a walking distance.

Convenient location, but bare minimum amenities. Booked non-smoking room, but it reeked of pipe smoke. Staff was friendly and moved us right away but room was dark and next to lobby so it was somewhat noisy in the morning. Bed not very comfortable, worth the price mainly because breakfast was included, otherwise overpriced for such a basic motel/hotel.

Was staying in what was listed as a "Non Smoking" room, however it seemed as if I was the first customer to use it as a non smoking room. Even though it was cold out I was forced to leave the window open all day to try to air out the smoke smell.

Cons: The staff needs to be friendly and rates reduced for military personnel.
Asked for late check out of noon and told it was okay. Was charged $10.00 late fee. Called and they said they wouldn't refund it. Pillows sucked, room was dirty and staff not friendly.
