Despite Expedia messing up our reservation, four seasons stepped up and rectified Expedia's mistake. The hotel is classy and the staff went above and beyond. We are already talking about dates for next year.

Walkable to Blackcomb base lodge

Location: Location is a bit remote from the main village drag with all the shops and restaurants, but the complimentary shuttle and car service made up for it.
My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Perks included a large, spacious room, complimentary wifi (free for 2 devices), free wine tasting (from 4-5pm, 1 glass of white and red, each), ski-concierge at the base of both Whistler and Blackcomb (although based out of Blackcomb), and a really enjoyable lobby with free coffee (from 5-8am). As always, the best part of staying in the Four Seasons is the staff: from the turn-down service to the complimentary shuttle/car service, the people were constantly asking how they could help. What's more impressive, however, is that they never seemed to just be looking for a tip, but they did appreciate it when they got one. The only downsides were the expensive and slow poolside/jacuzzi service.

Pros: Everything.
Cons: Did have a little clanking noise one night from the heater vent but it went away the next day.
Location: Everything is 5 minutes away-skiing and village. Excellent hotel shuttle bus service- never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be picked up.
Stayed 5 nights. Everybody was friendly and everything was perfect. Hotel had clean comfortable bed/sheets/pillows, great big bath, tons of hot water, great view, very quiet- cant hear the neighbors... comfy fireplace look gas furnace etc...- Highly recommended.

Best way to enjoy Whistler

Pros: The staff, the amenities, the way they go out of their way to make people feel at ease.
Cons: Their shuttle system runs on two schedules: one during the day and one at night. A little confusing on where the pickup locations are - maybe a map?
Location: Whistler is our favorite village environment and an outdoorsman's dream in the winter and summer alike. Stunningly picturesque
The thing about Four Seasons that always sets them apart is how their staff is impeccably trained. No matter the issue or problem, they are calm and polite and helpful. They will walk with you to another site to make sure you find your way; they will bring your skis and meet you after you get your ticket; they will send a car at any time to pick you up if needed. Coupled with the high craftsmanship and artistry of the decor, the overall experience is always first rate.

We had a delightful stay at the Four Seasons.The service was impeccable and the entire staff were very friendly and helpful. Each and every staff member was very welcoming and greeted us with a smile.Our room and the bathroom were spacious and comfortable and with a pleasing decor. The ski concierge at the hotel were extremely helpful.Overall a wonderful stay well worth the money!

Everything you could want

The hotel, while not ski-in ski-out makes up for this with the fantastic ski concierge facility at the base of the mountain. The rooms are spacious, the bed comfortable and the atmosphere great. The gym, spa, outdoor pool and hot tubs are outstanding. The staff were extremely helpful and having the hotel car as well as shuttle available was fantastic.

Not quite up to Four Season's standards.

Pros: Quiet. Excellent staff. Nice breakfast buffet and wine tasting. Ski concierge was a nice touch. Complimentary wi-fi was great.
Cons: Pool area needs renovation. Balcony plexiglass needs cleaning. Needs Blu-Ray player, not DVD only. Needs additional restaurant. $40 parking too high.
The hotel is a bit out of the way compared to other top hotels in the village. You have to walk 6 or 7 minutes or ride a shuttle to the slopes. But, it's probably in a more peaceful setting because it's further away. The lobby is small and subdued rather than impressive. It lacks a lobby bar. There's an oddly shaped circuitous bar/restaurant downstairs and that's it for eating facilities. I won't count the tiny coffee nook in the lobby that's only open in the early morning. The hotel should have at least one more sit-down eatery. Perhaps they could get rid of a conference room or two to put in another place to eat. The room was nice and clean. However, the balcony has glass or plexiglass panels under the railings which were filthy. I imagine they're there as a wind break, but they're foggy and streaked from lack of being cleaned. It detracts from the view. The views aren't that great anyway, but the glass needs to be cleaned regardless. The DVD remote had a corroded battery in it and didn't work. The spa/exercise facilities are nice albeit small. The pool area is dated and needs to be renovated. It has 3 spas and a main pool. The pool isn't good for swimming laps since it's oddly shaped. For some reason they had ugly white plastic chains roping off areas around the pool deck. I'm not sure why. It was odd and not attractive. The staff was exceedingly nice and accomodating. The hotel also has a ski concierge slopeside which was very useful.
