"We stayed here for the second time, this time for our 10th anniversary. The cabin is clean and quiet. The views are beautiful although the trees have grown up a bit in the 4 years since we’ve been. The hot tub in the back is perfect. You’re 20-30 minutes from anything you’d want or need in Chattanooga. The host is very kind and helpful. No complaints."

"Very impressed with cleanliness. Great cabin.the only thing that I would change is a handrail on the right side of the stairs. I have some mobility issues with my Left arm and leg and nothing to hold on to with my good hand on the right. My fault for not checking. LoL😊 beautiful large rug under the dining table but the chairs get caught and do not go back very well. Almost took my husband down! LoL 😆 overall great place . Would highly recommend."

"The cabin is conveniently located close to town and activities but is also in a quiet and private setting. The amenities include most everything you need for a cozy and relaxing getaway. The cabin is clean and convenient inside and out. It is truly a perfect place to relax and reset. The hosts were excellent with communication and made sure we had a great stay. We highly recommend and plan to come back to visit!"

"This was everything I could have hoped. I stayed with my new puppy, and it was HEAVEN! Secluded, clean, safe, lake, hammock, porch swing......Heaven! The host was responsive to all my questions. Prior reviews mention it's great for groups, but, if you could use some quiet, private downtime, this is also perfect. As an aside, I have verizon for my cell phone and I could text without problem. If you NEED to talk on the phone, it's also possible but more spotty. Internet was very fast."

"This property is stunning! The cabin itself is amazing and beautiful, but it's settled into this wonderful little area that has deer, rabbit, birds, and all kinds of other wildlife. There is not a lot of noise, so just sitting on the porch and listening to the animals and the wind in the trees was a highlight of the trip. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with everything we needed. We highly recommend this property. It was worth the drive for the views...

"We enjoyed our weekend so much!! The cabin was perfect, very clean and everything we needed was there. Erin and Bill are the best hosts! They gave us the grand tour of their 300 acre property and checked on us during our stay to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She even texted us from the grocery and asked if we needed anything!! How thoughtful is that!! Will definitely be back! Wonderful location for exploring FCF and Burgess Falls."

"Very nice cabins with all amenities in a very quiet location over looking a river. I came to photograph the area waterfalls all of which were less than 30 minutes away. Everything you could need is less than a 40 minute drive. I would highly recommend Bear Bluff Retreat....."

"My siblings and spouses spent the weekend here as we loved the view from the back deck! The house was rustic and had plenty of room for everyone with a full bathroom on each floor. The kitchen was well stocked with anything required for your stay. We arrived with the cold weather so we did use the fireplace. We had a lovely visit and had a special dinner at High Point in Monteagle as we all dressed in 1920’s costumes! We had a blast! Pros: the house is secluded and quiet, perfect location. We...
