Radisson Phoenix Chandler

Way better than expected!

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at the room size for the price. It was one of the better rooms we have had lately. We both have special needs like having a refridgerator and coffee in the room and extra space because my husband is very tall, We rented a suite and it was everything we had hoped for. I wish it wasnt a business trip we would have loved to stay and relax. We will be looking for a Rddison in other states if they are like this. Good Job Expedia.Thank you.

PF Changs China Bistro in Chandler was so helpful. Of course they have great food. But I camein very late almost closing and they served us a wonderful to go dinner with all that we needed for our hotel.

Away from the strip

Easy access fom the airport and to rt. 10 Close to restaurants and shopping.

Convenient hotel for business travelers conducting business in south part of town. Staff was very nice and helpful. Beautiful pool area and nice bar.

Repeat stay

This hotel is clean and well appointed, and in a great location. The food is not very good, but every kind of place to eat you can think of is within blocks of the hotel. And the Expedia rate was half the listed price!

Pretty great hotel

The hotel was easy to find and also close to the things we wanted to do on our stay. While the hotel does not have a continental breakfast, the restaurant there was great and the staff was polite and really went out of their way to make sure we were happy and satisfied. Our room was comfortable, but we did have some problems with the AC. The room was already at a comfortable setting when we got in, it was just difficult to get it lower than that. It worked, it just took awhile. We also enjoyed the pool. It was kind of dirty, but it had also been extremely windy that day too. Overall, it was an extremely pleasant stay and I would stay there again.

Marie Callender’s was a short walk away and had great food that fit in our budget.

Nice hotel

Besides bathtub looking a little shady everythiing else was realy clean. I personaly did not like the sleep number bed. I’ll admit that was one of the reasons why I booked this room but when I tried it I was dissapointed, very uncomfortable, its totally over rated. Be sure and hang the do not disturb sign outside because if not housekeeping will start knocking at 9am. Realy good central area close to everything.

Not Impressed -Needs Updating

This at one time was probably a pretty nice hotel. It is now in need of updating.

WILL STAY AGAIN

We were so surprised how nice and modern this hotel was. Everyone was pleasant. Our relatives who live in the area were shocked at the price! We couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay for that amount of money. And we have stayed in more expensive hotels that were not this nice.

Price Was Right

I found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nicely decorated. It was near nice restaurants and close to the airport. I would revisit this hotel.

NICE PLACE TO STAY

Nice place to stay. No breakfast included but 2 restaurants nearby serve breakfast. Breakfast provided in hotel is expensive for what you get - would recommend going to one of the restaurants near the hotel for breakfast. Room was very nice and clean, Received friendly and helpful service from the front desk. Back entrance to hotel should have been kept locked so that only guests with key cards could enter but that was not the case. Carpeting in common areas of the hotel was dirty and worn but the room we stayed in was very clean. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

Nice place...needs attention to detail

We have stayed at this hotel before and like it for the staff friendliness and amenities (restaurant, bar, etc.) My only complaint this stay is that there was mold growing in the tile grout in the tub/shower surround.

Great place to stay in Chandler, AZ

We’ve stayed in this hotel twice and have enjoyed both times. It is close to the freeway (I-10 and hwy 202), has plenty of parking, and has a great staff. This hotel will be our first choice on our next trip to Chandler this summer.

Hotel is adjacent to a Marie Callender’s restaurant. I highly recommend their Sunday morning brunch. The hotel has a brunch as well, but on the one SUnday that we were there we decided to try Marie Callender’s. We’ll try the hotel brunch next time and provide a review then. Deal? :-)

Allow smoking in marked no-smoking area

This Raddison allowed poeple to smoke at the pool even though all the enterances to the pool area were marked as a smoke free area. My wife got so sick from the smoke at the hot tub we had to leave the area and were stuck in our room.

Traveler's tip for business travelers

As a business traveler I would suggest not staying here on the weekend, too many families with loud kids. Stay in an outside facing room! Free internet is nice!

Very Dissappointed

I arrived at 2:30am and checked in. The room assigned was filthy (stains on carpet, furniture and rust in tub) I called the fron desk and they assigned me a different room. Again, Flithy. Called the desk again and was given two keys to two rooms. Settled on the better of the two. I asked for the manager to contact me which she did the next day and she as well as the staff were very pleasant. She asked what they could do to make it better and I told her to get the rooms cleaned and fire the housekeeping staff. She gave me a free breakfast. I call Radisson when I returned home with my complaint and have not heard from them yet. That was over a month ago.

Very pleased with the accommodations.

I was traveling with a friend and we both thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations at this hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious. Hotel staff was very accommodating. Would stay here again.

Easy Access

The staff was very friendly and service was great. The food in the restaurant was very good also. The Sleep Number bed was a bust. Tried different settings three nights in a row. Next time we’ll get a regular bed. Otherwise, good value for the money.

Convenient to everything, reasonably priced

I thought my daughter lived in Phoenix, but she was up- the freeway a couple of exits in South Tempe. No problem. This place was an easy in and out. The price was so acceptable, we paid for our son and wife to stay next door, which was also accomodating for the hotel. Cool layout of the room, with a dresser separating the bed from the business area. Nice shower, comfortable bed, good tv. Good stuff. No free breakfast, but we didn’t expect it at the price we got.

Clean and Friendly

Hotel was clean with plenty of towels in the bathroom. The people that worked the front desk were very helpful. The only thing I would suggest that the hotel change is that on the weekends they did not serve coffee in the lobby.

Adequate hotel for business in Chandler

Radisson Hotels are dependable, and while this particular Radisson was OK and was well placed for the business I had to do in Chandler, there were a few small things that took the gloss off. For one, I (and everyone else in the hotel) got a cold shower the first morning due to a water heating fault. This happens, and management were apologetic, however I would have expected some compensation for the inconvenience. The other gripe is that the hotel restaurant is deadly quiet. The food was good, but dining by yourself in an empty restaurant is not so much fun. So overall, OK for the price, but not a hotel with any buzz, and in need of an injection of some zing.

Desert Botanical Gardens (not far from the airport) are an interesting view of the *real* desert, rather than the sprawling burbs that make up Phoenix today.

Comfy rooms

The room we were given was great. It had two rooms. One had a bed with television and the other had a desk, fridge, couch and chair, and television. The bed was a sleepnumber bed. This bed was very comfortable.

Plan to stay there again.
