Always nice, but...
The rooms are very nice. Got lucky and got a corner suite. Sweet! THE hotel is always spotless, but the scented cleaners they use! Blasts you in the sinus when you walk in the front door. Almost seems like they pump air freshener through the HVAC... it’s everywhere. If you are bothered by chemicals or scented products, you might think twice about staying here. The MGM Grand casino was also "smelly", lots of artificial scent in the air. Don’t know about their rooms.

Wonderful stay
I went to the hotel for my 50th birthday. The stay was fantastic!! I was disappointed that the gym was not free for hotel guests. Enjoyed full day getting pampered at the spa. Hotel staff very attentive and helpful.

Beautiful Room!
The room was wonderful, lots of space to move about, the beds were extremely comfortable and the large bathroom was perfect.

Most everything you’d want for a short stay was available within the Mandalay Bay complex, but the taxi service was convienient for short rides to nearby restaurants, etc. The pool area was beautiful and the wave pool was way cool.

Great rooms
This is my 3rd stay at The Hotel. Its a great suite style room with lots of room and a comfortable work area as well.

Very nice place
thehotel is very nice and set apart from the normal casino hotel. One thing lacking in the rooms is a coffee maker.

Not impressed
Hotel service just regular. 20 mn walking to reach the swimming pool which is just noisy!

Beautiful hotel - smelled wonderful!
It was a first-rate hotel - great rooms. The lobby area smelled wonderful - like a fragrant soap/spa type smell. Not overpowering, but fresh and clean. Service was wonderful and answered questions we had. Pool area was great and pool attendants were very helpful in rounding up chaise lounges for our group. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful Hotel
THEhotel rooms are large, very comfortable and quiet. The only problem we had was a shower drain that was plugged so we had cold standing water in the shower stall our last morning. Would definitely stay there again, however it is at the far end of the Strip so be prepared to walk a lot!

Has a classic feel
I have stayed at all the better las vegas hotels but the entire property at Mandalay Bay is my favorite. You still get the Las Vegas experience but you also get to relax and not stress out with all the traffic that other parts of the strip have. Whether it is the pools, the beach, the great restaurants or the spas, Mandalay has something for everyone. It has made Las Vegas our families favorite vacation spot year after year.

The Mandalay buffet and coffee shop called Raffles are great places to eat as well if you are not looking for an over fancy meal.

Suite was great - pool situation unacceptable
We stayed at THEhotel during the second week of September. Our suite was everything we had hoped it would be, it was comfortable and spacious and the hotel staff was constantly cleaning. Our complaints with the suite are similar to other complaints posted, the volume buttons on the televisions are broken and the bath towels do feel like sandpaper. While we were happy with our suite at THEhotel, like many others, we were not happy with the pool situation. The week that we were there was considered quiet, however, as others have complained, you need to get to the pool early because the beach chairs are routinely gone by 11 AM. Part of the problem is they allow guests from other hotels to use the pools. They deny doing this, but it routinely occurs. The lounging areas get very crowded and people get into fights over chairs. We rented a cabana for one of our pool days. The quality of the cabana and what you received was significantly less than what you receive at other hotels on the strip for the same price. So while we were overall pleased with our suite, we were not impressed by the overcrowded pools. We will not choose this facility again for that reason.

The Steakhouse at Circus Circus is phenomenal - has been voted best steakhouse for the last 20 years. Once you get through the casino, the restaurant is a completely different world. Best steak I ever had.

Very nice,extremely clean, BUT!
A place this nice(& kinda expensive) you would think that they could put a coffee pot,or a microwave, or a fridge in the room. A small fridge was available(for $20.00/day). Coffee was availavle for $3.25/cup downstairs. Overall very good service & very clean. The suite was very spacious & nicely decorated

The hotel at mandalay bay was very relaxing and nice, the suites were very spacious and modern, and there was plenty to do at the hotel since it was connected to mandalay bay.I would definitely stay here again.The staff was kind of annoying but help nonetheless.

A bus pass is just as good as taking the taxi,the buss will take u anywhere on the strip plus further and its $15 for an unlimited 3 day bus pass that runs 24 hrs

The best hotel in Vegas
I have been to Vegas about 15 times in the last 3 years and I have stayed in 5 different hotels. The hotel is the best by far. when I go back, it will be The hotel.

Horrible service
The check time was 3:00 but they gave us the room at 5:30! They just told us to hang around till they call us!! Room was dirty like a hell!!! Will never go there again

Pretty nice, very clean
I had a great stay, some minor things to consider... 1) The pool is VERY crowded, unless you get there early, it’s hard to locate lounge chairs. 2) The hotel will nickle-dime you for every expense, such as internet and what not. 3) It was still a little walk away from the other casino’s, and the tram was jam packed most of the time (I’m not sure, but they may have only had one running,vice both). Positives: 1) The room was clean, and cool. 2) The buffet was pretty good. 3) I didn’t have to worry about letting my teenage children walk around the hotel alone, I chose the Mandalay Bay because it usually draws good company.
