No Frills Hotel

If you are looking for a luxurious hotel, Bill’s is not the place for you. What they skimp on in amenities is made up for by the savings on the room rate. However, the location midstrip is great. I could see the Bellagio fountains from my room. Also, it is very easy to grab a cab, since Bill’s rounds the corner onto Flamingo Ave. Bill’s is the type of hotel if you are only looking for a cheap room to crash in at the end of the day!

Don’t Stay! Dirty & Disguisting!

This was the absolute worst hotel that we have ever stayed in! We arrived around 8 to be told that we were the last to check in so the only 2 rooms left would be an upgrade, 1 to a street view and 1 to a suite, we think great! until we started our walk to the rooms and noticed how bad the placed smelled, the unclean carpets, etc, Then we opened the doors to these rooms. Yuck! 1 of the rooms smelled like they had used it for the ashtray dump for the last 10 years! Even the pillows and sheets reeked! Everything was dirty and just plain disgusting! The so-called suite might have been one sometime in the late 70’s, very outdated!. Again, not clean, things broken, the bathtub should never be stepped into! The street noise was also far too loud to rest. First thing in the morning we ran from that place to a much cleaner, nicer hotel!

This place is a great little place

You can’t beat this place for location and price. The rooms are exactly like they are shown in photos and very quiet. I would not hesitate to recommend this place as the best hotel and casino on the strip for the price.

On the Strip is nice, however, I would not go back.

Check-in was great. Upon arrival we asked about a late checkout because our flight was not until 10:00PM. We were told that we would need to pay for another day. I explained that we had 4 people staying and gambling in the hotel, possibly to see if a comp might be in order. No dice. On the day before our departure, the TV went out, and they did not have another one to replace, so no TV. We called the front desk again to see about a late checkout, No dice again. We called a casino host to try and explain our issue, She did not call us back until we were at the airport waiting to leave. However, the stay was enjoyable and the room was spacious. The slots were the tightest I have ever seen. Never seen anyone winning a jackpot the total time we were there. Must we a sign of the weak economy. No one in our group had any luck @ Bills.

Traveler's tip on nightlife

Drais nightclub is definitly a place for the younger crowd. A lot of kids with a lot to drink @ all hours. Looked like a fun place.

Bills Gamblin Hall

The hotel and staff were great. It is a small hotel so there were no long lines or long waits to get into the room. We had only 2 issues, the first being no safe in the room, the other that the down pillows are real...so real that one of the pillows had feathers sticking out of it making it a bit prickly. We would stay again and again and again

Traveler's tip

If you have allergies, bring your own pillows or ask for other than down pillows.

Pleasantly surprised.

Having shows to attend at two other resorts, and looking for a reasonable room rate, we were very pleased with the renovated accomodations and proximity to the other resorts. The mid-strip location is awesome for access to other attractions. Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville is very close and excellent for food, drink and dancing almost all night! We enjoyed celebrating our 29th anniversary at Bill’s. We will most likely be back.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Bill’s is located in the heart of the infamous Las Vegas Strip which provides great access to many other attractions.

Great deal for the money

When we got to the hotel late on Thursday night, the receptionist was very friendly and upgraded our room to a suite which was very nice. The room was clean and fresh, staff were friendly. We would definitely go back to this hotel again.

hidden gem on the strip

have stayed at bill’s several times. if you don’t mind not having a mall inside the hotel, or 20 bars and clubs inside the hotel, bill’s is a great choice.middle of strip, very comfortable rooms-beds, linens, pillows. 42 in flat screen tv. i will always check bill’s first before booking a room in vegas...

Well maintained older hotel

A nice, reasonable hotel close to the action on the Strip. The only problem we had was the street noise in our room at night. Requested another room and the staff gave us another one higher up and in the back which solved the problem. Restaurant was a little too pricey for us but the food was good. Would recommend this hotel for those who want to save a few bucks.

Old School Hotel

Not one of the big hotels on the strip, but it does have a good location and outside of a sink that wouldn’t drain was a comfortable room.

Wow in Vegas!!

This hotel wasn’t the biggest or the most fancy, but for the price and the location, it can’t be beat anywhere on the Strip

Great locale & cheap- but noisy & bright, few amenities

The checkin/out staff could have been more friendly & helpful: " you can get a taxi outside..."-they didn’t engage at all, I wanted a bit more time in the room on the check out day- not happening. I left more info in the room about Vegas than was provided. The cleaning staff helpful in obtaining a coffee maker (Im a tea drinker- no tea bags provided)which wasnt in room. The price reflects the quality here- without question. Terrible drainage in shower, dusty closet, Bellagio fountains in sight, yet noisy, make sure u are more than 1 floor above garage area. Adequate for my needs & good locale are best I can say.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

for the price & locale - very good. But overall I would have chosen alternate for a few $ more further from strip

Just what we needed!

Like all the reviews said, Bill’s was just what we were looking for. Primo location, right in the heart of the strip, with an awesome view from our room of Bally’s fountains at night. Very quiet, clean, comfortable rooms. Very reasonable priced. I’m not too much into Vegas, we we’re just touring an overseas relative, so only stayed 2 nights. If we’d had time to spend a day by the pool, we could have used the Flamingo’s pool right next door, and all the people there looked like they were having a great time. The restaurant at Bill’s wasn’t the nicest in town, but it was adequate for a late night meal, and the food and service weren’t bad. We were also given lots of coupons for other buffets close by, which we did use. Overall, Bill’s was a great place to stay.

Clean with central location, but amenities lacking

Bill’s Gamblin’ Hall is a great value. The rooms were on the small side but clean. Bill’s has a great location on the center strip. (If they offer you an "upgrade" to the side of the hotel that faces the Bellagio fountains, politely decline; the Strip is noisy 24/7, and you can’t really see the fountains anyway.) The hotel lacks amenities including a pool (you can use one in Flamingo next door) and a gym (you can pay $10/day to use one in Flamingo). It was also quite smoky in the lobby, which is unfortunate since that’s the only way to get to the room elevators.

Fun fun fun

This was a great getaway and the location was definitely a plus. I really enjoyed the hotel and the casino. The $1 margaritas were also really good. It had a lot of upbeat and young people. The hotel room was kept clean. It was very spacious, I would return to this hotel again. Though it’s not as luxurious, it has the amenities you need.

In the Middle of Everything

Bill’s is a great starting point for wandering the Vegas Strip. You are truly in the center of everything. The rooms are reasonably priced, clean, and quite large. There seemed to be an issue with water temperature consistency during showers (cool to scalding without moving the knob), but other than that, a great place to stay.
