Great Location & Good Value!

some reviewers complained about the older furniture and carpeting being dated, which was true, and the queen bed was adequate at best. but the pillows and bedding were new and everything was clean. good temperature controls. wireless internet was easy, fast, and reliable. daily housekeeping was good. continental breakfast was basic, but they had the option of a hot buffet breakfast at a good price. eating meals in the room was very doable. kitchenette with under-counter refrigerator, a two burner cooktop, older microwave, and a newer coffee maker. the toaster oven and garbage disposer in the sink were unexpected. basic but adequate dishes, pans & utensils. Good steam iron, ironing board, hair dryer, TV. reasonably large room, with six lamps. walk-out balconies and upper level views are a bonus. grounds were kept up and swimming pools were sparkling. the first room they assigned had a noisy air conditioner so asked for another room. in the second room the dishwasher didn’t work, but oh well - didn’t need it and like you even find a dishwasher at the expensive hotels? if not happy with your room ask for a different one. the place could use some updating but when they do they’ll get another $20-30 per night. adjust your expectations to the cost and it’s a very good value. have stayed there twice. location is great!

Bad Room

It was an old fashion looking room in the 2nd building. They claim building 1 and 3 are updated. Back sliding door was broke and wouldnt lock Bed was broke couch was stained and bathroom was xtra small

Not happy

This hotel is in a great area but the Hotel itself sucks. Old or broken furniture no one at the front desk to complain to. No AC for two days. it was hell

The hotel is located in a somewhat good location, access to the i-ride, near major atractions, but the room was quite old and the carpet was terrible, but if you do not have plans to stay a lot of time in the room it may be ok

Great if your 80 years old and want to feel of a nursing home...

Rooms are very outdated, some rooms look down out horrible. We had a problem with the AC in the room our entire time we stayed there, one day it would work, the next day it would’nt. Pool area was great, and the location was awesome. Staff was very nice, but little they can do to compensate for such an old hotle. Next time I go, I’ll stay some where else...

The only place I stay when I’m in Orlando

I’ve been staying @ The Enclave every time I’ve been to Orlando for the past few years. This year, I had such a nice time, I reccommended it to my parents. I was there from Tuesday to Friday, and my parents stayed Friday and Saturday nights. (Different rooms/booking) I especially love how close it is to Universal Studios and Wet’n Wild. I will be staying there every time I go back to O-town.

Traveler's tip

If you’re visiting the local attractions (Wet’n Wild, Universal Studios, Sea World, or Aquatica), I advise that you take the shuttle service that they offer. You avoid the parking fees at each park!!!

An Okay Hotel

1. There were ants in the kitchen. 2. A disturbance in the room next door that spilled into the hallway at 1am. Called the front desk but no one answered.

Very comfortable, not too fancy

This hotel is a great place to stay, especially for a long visit. It has a full kitchen, comfortable living area and dining room. The patio was also very nice. It’s not very fancy, some of the furniture is old, the door handles are a little rusty, but overall very well kept up. Even though it was old, the room was very clean. Excellent location. I would definitely stay there again.

If you are staying here with bigger kids, I would recommend asking for a room on the ground level with a lake view, instead of a balcony, the room’s patio doors open up to the lake, which is always full of ducks, they walk right up to your room.

The worst hotel ever

We arrived for our stay, at what seemed to be a fantastic hotel. We arrived at 3 pm and had to wait for over an hour. I had already read a few reviews, but I figured that I would give them a chance. This was a bad mistake. The room was dirty. Most of the appliances were falling apart. The beds were uncomfortable, and had some type of water stain on the box spring. We were only there for one night so we made do. It was a great location but terrible hotel. Looks are very deceiving. I will not recommend or ever return to this hotel.

Nice place hospitality not so good

Rooms are nice esp if you get the bigger balcony,hospitality not so good. My family and I arrived at 2:38 for a 3:00 ck in and was told to come back at 3:00. When asked what we could do till then we were told to sit in the parking lot till 3:00. In all our travels we have never been told that, mabey your room is not ready you can enjoy our amenities till your room is ready but never sit in the HOT parking lot till check in. To top it off the clerk never even check to see if the room was ready,and when she did they said it had been ready for hours.

DO NOT SHOW UP AT THIS HOTEL EVEN A FEW MINUTES EARLY! YOU WILL NOT BE ALOWED TO CHECK IN SO PLAN AHEAD OF TIME TO GET THERE EXACTLY ON TIME OR HAVE SOMETHING ELSE IN YOUR PLANS TILL THEN.

From the look of this hotel on the computer it seemed nice. The minute we entered the elevator I knew it wasnt going to be good. It smelled smokey and musty just like our room. The second night there we had to call maintanence twice at 11:00 p.m. to fix the air conditioingn. He had to get up in the cieling and vacume out something that was filled with water. The second night the same thing happened. Out in the hallway the carpet was always soaked with water and musty smelling.We finally switched rooms. They closed the pool one day do to rain. Rain Really? So needless to say I would never go back there.

Everything in this area seemed overly priced. However if you can find a Wal Mart there prices are the same as at home.

Good hotel for the money

Provided the basic necessities that we needed. The shuttles to the parks were reasonable although they only run 2 times a day usually. Otherwise a good place to stay.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

I would recommend NOT using their taxi service if you need to go to Downtown Disney or anywhere the shuttles don’t provide service to...they said that they would charge us $60 ONE WAY to Downtown Disney, we called yellow cab and paid only $26 to go one way to the same place.

alright - but flaws make it not worth it

The hotel would have been great, but the hotel keys failed constantly as I have seen on other reviews. Also, they randomly charged $118 dollars to my credit card which was not mentioned during check out. It took a while to get ahold of someone and she could not explain my charge but did promtly remove it. If you stay here, check your credit card statement immediately after your stay!

i booked 3 rooms for family vacation 1 room was on floor 1 one room on floor 3one room on floor 6 they said could not put us on same floor buy my floor 6was empty no phonebooks in any room beds real hard phone did not work no hot water.

The front reception was very unprepared for my family, our room was not ready and he had us waiting until 3pm to find us a room. Mind you, a couple of people that came after us got their room right away, dont know why?..... As far as the bathroom and the shower, smelly!!! Do not plan on going there ever again.

Nice view from balcony. Close to everything including I-Drive. Indoor heated pool came in handy. Furniture needs a little upgrade. Hotel is O.K if you are not picky, You get what you pay for. Satisfied with overall stay and will return.

Mediocre suites

Bathroom needs updating, the wall paper was coming off the wall. wooden vanity was "rough" and new ones are definately something they NEED to do. The sofa couch smelled of smoke in a smoke free room and was dated...the mattress on the sofa bed needs replacing. You don’t live in your suite while there, I say these accomodtions was mediocre. so if you’re looking for a suite like the Residence Inn or Fairfield in this won’t be a place for you. There were 2 bathrooms which was awesome, one with a shower another with tub/shower combo. I’d go back there once they’ve renovated the bathrooms. Staff help were delightful!

The hotel was great. The people were great and extremly helpful. The pools are awsome. We will stay there again!

Everything is right there and they have transportation to attractions. No need for car.

Awful Hotel

Maid service was terrible. didn’t refill toilet paper, coffee, had to ask for towels everyday. The hotel was not convenient at all for my family and would not stay there or recommend again. The front desk was not accomodating either, just for something as simple as asking for a hospital nearby and they couldn’t even give me clear information. Very disappointed!!

great location for teens

We stayed at this hotel because I thought it would be perfect for our needs. We were going there for my daughters 18th b-day and we were bringing her boyfriend with us. So we got a 2 bedroom suite so we could all stay together. The room was spacious enough for all of us to have our own space and to "separate" the kids...Also, since we knew the kids would want to go out without us at night it was a perfect location for them to walk or take the trolley to the smaller amusement parks, go cart tracks, miniature golf, Ripleys and Wonderworks. We walked to Wet and Wild and to Pirates Dinner Adventure. During the day we were about 5 minutes away from Universal Studios and Islands of adventure. The pools at the hotel were nice and us adults even went in the indoor hot tub one night. The breakfast was nothing special, but we went and got it to save for snacks later and took advantage of the cheap buffets for breakfast before heading to the parks. It was a great trip! The adults had their time, the kids had theirs and everyone got along really well. I think that was thanks in part to the hotel. Oh, did I tell you, the kids went to see Rocky Horror so I called down to the front desk to get them a cab to City Walk and they sent a limo?? Yeah, it was 10 bucks and the kids were thrilled as hell. Everything was really great couldnt ask for more.
