Quality Inn, Takoma Park
The hotel is basic, clean, and adequate for overnight stays in which the hotel is not the destination. The price is reasonable. We’d go back there.

Run down and unclean
The desk clerks were very competent. They should try to get jobs at a hotel that matches their competence. The first room we were assigned had a badly stained bed spread. I can’t imagine how housekeeping could allow it. The second room had a intermittent air conditioner, sometimes cold, sometimes not. The bathroom tub area needs replacing. The TV generic remote was the cheapest model with no options for controlling various functions. The ice machine nearest our room was out-of-order. Overall - half-a-star. Expedia would be wise to remove this hotel from the list.
