Good reasonably-priced hotel near Ku’damm

The location is excellent, just 20m from the Ku’damm, and maybe 100m from the U-Bahn (200m from the S-Bahn at Zoologischer Garten). Prices are reasonable, rooms petite but modern and clean, and staff very helpful.

GREAT Hotel

Both the room and the hotel itself were wonderful. The location is fantastic--close to everything and public transportation practically next door. The only negative I can think of is-no breakfast. Personnel all very accomodating and helpful.

Great Location

Easy to get to any nice place to stay. Only complaint is no Wifi available for use with Iphone. They usually charge 8 euro an hour to use a computer but since they were having a problem with the one for quests they let us use theirs to make a couple of quick emails.

A Push

The place is nice. The rooms were clean, the staff was mostly friendly, and the location was good. A few things, however, were a turn-off. For example, the bathroom in the room we stayed at did not have a door, and if I was traveling with anybody other than my girlfriend, that could have been awkward.

Perfect for anyone look for clean room, good price, central location

We stayed at this hotel in May of 2009 and it was all we could ask for. The price was great for a mid-range clean hotel. The location was great and it was only a few blocks from the U and S bauns making it accessable from anywhere. Great location in the center of it all.

Nice hotel in W. Berlin

Superb hotel in western part of Berlin. I really liked this part of the city but you have to use U-Bahn to visit main city attractions (and U-Bahn station is very close to hotel) - not a big problem for me. I personally liked room design.

Modern hotel in great neighborhood

Can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Modern, clean, comfortable, quiet, and very friendly. Neighborhood is really wonderful, a zillion restaurants and shops around. Subway stop right in front of hotel, and Bahnhof Zoo train station is 2 short blocks away for trips to Potsdam or anywhere on the S-line. There is even a big grocery store a block away. Huge Starbucks a few steps away. Hotel staff was super friendly and efficient. Free Internet with a simple network cable, no WiFi login and password to mess with. Bed was great and had those thick comforters that made sleep easy. Only negative about this hotel was that the shower and sink were not in a separate room, so either go alone or with a spouse, because there is no privacy. Didn’t try the restaurants in the hotel but there are so many places in the neighborhood you will want to go out. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Berlin later this year.

Traveler's tip

It was ridiculously easy to get to this hotel from Tegel Airport: the X9 bus runs every 10 minutes to the Bahnhof Zoo train station, which is an easy 5-minute walk from this hotel. You can also take the 109 bus, which stops right in front of the hotel (but is a local route so it takes longer than the X9). Both the X9 and the 109 take you directly to/from Tegel for only 2.10 euros.

Good Location

The hotel is located walking distance to almost very transportation. Subway,Bus... Its also located in the shopping district as well. So you are in the middle of everything. The condioint of the hotel was nice and very modern. Friendly staff. The only thing I did not appreciate was the price did not include the breakfast. It would cost me additional 18 Euros which I think was extremely high priced. In conclusion,I would recommend this hotel!

I stayed in Lindner Berlin April 3 - 6 2009 and I have no affiliation with the hotel. The location has to be the best in town. My room was just wonderful with a stunning view over Gedächniskirche and neat modern interior. And the staff was very friendly and made a special point to go the extra mile to make my stay the best. I will use Lindner again if I go back to Berlin.

perfect location

Excellent hotel and (I thought) a great value, too. It’s a comfortable walking distance to the Gemäldegalerie and the other institutions at the Kulturforum; moreover, opportunities for fabulous shopping and good restaurants abound. it would be nice if the hotel included breakfast in the price, but you can’t have everything!

Everything was excellent except the internet service was not working while I was there.

Nice Surprise

Comfortable room, convenient location, and a good price make this a good selection. High-speed internet (Ethernet) in the room.

Bathroom

A bathroom without a door and open directly to sleeping area is not a good idea.
