LaQuinta Hotel is better

The Comfort Suites was ok, but just ok. The LaQuinta hotel is in the same area and for a similar price you get a bigger pool, LodgeNet in-room movies and a larger breakfast/gathering area.

Clean, quiet, and friendly.

The hotel staff was really friendly, the rooms were immaculate, it was very quiet and relaxing, and the continental breakfast was fantastic!

Duct tape room

The tub had 3 places where duct tape was used to seal tub. room was not made up and had to call at 6PM to have it made up. The in room coffee pot was not cleaned and no new coffee for the next am was left.

Good stay

I stayed here for a medical school interview at Midwestern. I checked in around 4, and the staff were extremely friendly. My room happened to be along the highway, which was unfortunate. However, the hotel was clean and quiet which was nice. The complementary breakfast was good, minus the nasty eggs!

Weekend only!

Stayed for the fourth of July weekend. Saw a great show across the street at the Peoria ball park. There seemed to be no maitenance or janitor on staff all weekend. Garbage at the pool was overflowing but never emptied and backed up toilet in our room at 11:00PM was my recponcibilty! Breakfast buffet was OK, but flimsy plastic ware made cutting a waffle difficult and no cream cheese for bagels was sad. The couch, carpet and bed-spread were all stained and over perfumed. And, make sure you tell the front desk to take the "safe charge" off your bill at check-out, if you used it or not, or else they’ll leave it on your bill!

Plenty of restaurants and night life within walking distance. Nice mall and a Costco across the street.

Weekend Only

We stayed for the July 4th weekend. Asked for a room with a view of the Peoria stadium across the street and saw a great fireworks show. That was Friday and by Sunday night the garbage in the pool area was still overflowing and the pool never cleaned once while we were there. The Jacuzzi jets didn’t work, and pool size was barely able to allow 10 people comfortably. The carpet in the room was dirty and stained as well as the couch and comforter on the bed. We came back one night around 10:00pm to find the toilet was stopped up. The desk apologized and asked if I wanted a plunger! I don’t like overwhelming perfume odor but had to endure it the whole time. So, for a weekend get away it was tolerable, but any longer would have been testing. When I got home and looked the bill over a bit closer I noticed they charged me $1.50 a day plus tax for the "room safe" that I never used. I called and they promptly removed it from the bill. Make sure you have two water bottles in the fridge (we didn’t) or they’ll try to charge you $5.00 for them.

There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, as well as a mall, Costco and Best-Buy across the street.

Playing in a Tournament at the sports complex. Many Restaurants to choose from, IHOP 50 feet away.

Good hotel

When I checked in I was given my keys and room number and then had to leave for an appointment. When I returned at 10pm I went to my room and opened the door to find that someone else was already in the room. I went back downstairs with all of my luggage in tow and was told I had been given the wrong room number. They said "I guess this must be our fault." As opposed to mine? You gave me a sheet of paper that had the wrong room number typed on it. They swapped my keys out and I went back upstairs. The room was very comfortable and very clean. Although it was listed as a double queen room, there was also a pull out couch which was a nice plus. WIFI didn’t work in the room. At breakfast the next morning I waited in a line of 8. Everyone in line in front of me was an employee in uniform. When they were done serving themselves they stood in front of the food station blocking others from getting in. Everyime I tried to move around one of them another stepped in front of me to have a second helping. Maybe it’s just because I work in a customer service industry but I was pretty disappointed with the staff that morning. All in all, the hotel room was nice enough to put up with the minor staff issues.

great hotel for price

The hotel was in a perfect location for us. Lot of restaraunts all close. The room was good size for 2 adults and 2 teenage boys. 2 Q beds and sofa sleeper were great. Beds very comfy. Breakfast was very good. The staff kept up with the high demand of the customers very well. Will definitely stay here again. Have been here before and was very happy. Joan, Lake Havasu City, AZ

Been there before and went back

This hotel is close to where I need to be when I am in the Valley. It’s location is prime. Check-in is easy and parking plentiful. Priced right, I will return again.

That Italian place next door has great atmosphere and the folks are nice, too. Sorry, cannot recall the name. If you are at the hotel, it is about 100 steps away.

Enjoyable and relaxing experience...

Clean, attractive hotel and grounds, friendly and helpful hotel clerks and employees, convenient location, very nice continental breakfasts, loved the laundry room facility so close to our room, swimming pool facilities very nice also.

Great shopping and restaurants...almost anything you could want was right there on Bell Road.

Looking forward to returning

Great location for Spring Training trips. Staff was very helpful, cleaning staff did an excellent job keeping our room clean and the layout for breakfast was good. We’ll be staying at this hotel for all of our future trips to the Pheonix area.

Great Place for Padres / Mariner Spring Training

The hotel is an excellent place for staying if you are there to see the Padres / Mariners play at Peoria Stadium! The breakfast food was actually better than I thought they would have.

There are many many local restaurants, stores, malls etc within walkin distance. Very convenient.

Not impressed

Our room as far as comfort was good but the carpet looked liked they forgot to run the sweeper, and the room was located on the back next to the freeway with all the traffic noise all night long. Didn’t get much sleep to bowl in the tournament the next day.

Well situated, fair pricing

For what it provided and where it was located it was a good accommodation. It was convenient to the highways and shopping and food were all within a short walk/drive. The breakfast was disappointing so we ate elsewhere in the neighborhood. Staff were very pleasant to deal with and helpful. I would not necessarily stay there again, but it certainly is not a bad place to be.

Friendly Staff & Nice Hotel

Having traveled to Peoria, Arizona several times a year, I have been at this property on more than one occasion and have been very satisfied. The rooms are excellent and the staff very friendly. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting the area.

Impressive breakfast bar

Convenient location, right off the freeway. Rooms are decent sized. I traveled with my two daughters, we had plenty of space. The free breakfast bar was impressive. Make your own waffles, fruit, juices, eggs, potatoes, cereal, coffee, bagels! Pool is small but clean. Used the laundry facilities to dry bathing suits, very convenient. Check out promptly or you will get a knock from the front desk clerk like we did. Thought it was a bit rude. Not bad overall for an inexpensive stay, though.

Breakfast at hotel saved us several dollars by not having to go out.

Nice, and clean

Everything, the lobby, the guest room, the general appearance of the hotel was nice and clean. Located near lots of restaurants. Great for what we needed, a clean place to spend a couple of nights.

Great Place to stay

The hotel was clean, the service was great...I called the front desk for an iron, cuz the one in the room didn’t work. It was there in less than 10 minutes. The front desk was helpful and I thought over all the stay was great. The morning breakfast was terrible, but other than that...it was good!!!

Great place to stay if you are there for the fields at Peoria!! Great location!!!

Clean up

the hotel was fine, the only problem was the maid service. There was coffee cups left in the room, no restocking of the coffee everyday. Trash was still left in the room
