“The stay did not start well as there was no record of my reservation. I don't know if there was a communication problem between Expedia and the "resort" or if there was internal miscommunication. None the less, the room that I reserved was not available. Thankfully they had a different accommodation available. The cabin was acceptable, but I can not give an excellent review because the sheets were wrinkled and the towels were a synthetic fabric. I guess I am spoiled because in Europe,……

“5/5 Stars Total hidden gem in the Poconos! Lakelyn Lodge is beautifully renovated, immaculate, and offers stunning lakefront views. The contactless check-in was incredibly convenient, and the room felt elevated with high-end linens, luxury bath amenities, and excellent local coffee. We spent our mornings looking out at the quiet lake and our days exploring nearby Hawley and State Parks. It’s the perfect, peaceful basecamp for a weekend trip. Highly recommend!”

“Really enjoyed our stay at this charming Inn. We stayed in the top floor unit which was a large two bedroom apartment with full kitchen. Large living room and dining area. The staff at both check in and at the restaurant was very pleasant and helpful. Was not cheap but was a lot of room for the money. Also included a very good cooked-to-order breakfast which I assume comes out of the kitchen from the Mexican restaurant on the Inn's first floor. In a quiet neighborhood right next to a very nice……

“Very expensive for what it is. Rooms have no separation from the bar area and had people running and screaming down the halls at midnight. No staff onsite to assist and no response when we reached out the next day. Disappointing, a beautiful area but for the price of a nice hotel with the experience of a poorly run hostel. ”
