"We had a great week in Marlinton. The house was great with everything we needed and more. We enjoyed going to a different point of interest each day. So much to see and do!!! "

"The cabin itself was absolutely beautiful. But the grass was very high and we arrived after dark and we were scared to walk through the tall grass. The beds were very uncomfortable(it felt like when you sat on bed it went straight to floor). We had purchased our fishing license so we could fish but we couldn’t get to the water. When I looked at pics for cabin it showed pics of the river but it’s a very long walk (my husband is an amputee) I wish they would have disclosed how far away the river...

"Great property with well appointed kitchen. Convenient location for ski in and ski out. We found it somewhat challenging to get the info we needed from RedAwning. The bot on the chat was a frustrating experience. And the emailed check in info seemed complete except that it did not provide specific details for the Black Bear Crossing units.The messaging could have been more crisp and actually related to the rental unit rather than a generic message for all rental locations. It seemed impossible...

"Loved the spacious room size and bathroom size! The pool was phenomenal! Great help at the front desk at the hotel on top of the mountain and bottom! It was a wonderful place to stay and economical for me and my son! We will be back sometime just not sure when. "

"There is no air conditioning in this property as of August 2024. Not sure why the listing would say so. It was filthy when we arrived, and the lower-level rooms were dank and musty. If we had been staying for more than one night I would have contacted the owner immediately, but we made do since we were there less than 24 hours. Absolutely not worth the price."
