After staying in Berlin and Potsdam, this was a really nice, relaxing break. It has a great B&B kind of vibe with a quiet outdoor dining area, lots of shade and easy parking. The room was perfect, with air conditioning and lots of nice amenities like a little help-yourself fridge with beers, snacks and soft drinks. Everything was clean and comfortable. We loved it here! The family running this landhotel was very helpful and friendly. Located outside of Bautzen, it's a great place to be away from tourists and enjoy contact with real people. The hosts spoke some English, but everyone else we encountered generally just spoke German. It's a very relaxing location, and you'll definitely feel away from the hustle of being in a tourist site. Breakfast was very good, and the dinner we had one night was amazing. We'd love to go back here again!

We loved our stay here! The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They gave us an excellent recommendation for a restaurant in a nearby town. There’s a small grocery store within walking distance and I highly recommend purchasing the breakfast at the property, it is home-cooked and hardy for a days hiking ahead as well as beautifully, presented. The grounds and gardens were lovely and we ate breakfast outside and had drinks in the evening surrounded by beauty.
