“They've been updating the property into more of a resort and it's looking great. We were there on Halloween night and they had activities in the courtyard area, music s'mores - a very relaxing evening. Accommodations were updated and the bed very comfortable. Probably my first on the checklist is a good bed.”

“This was a magnificent place to stay. The location was beautiful. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the place was kept super clean. The area was so peaceful. I just wished they had breakfast included in the mornings. Other than that the place was superb.”

“Cool place, nice atmosphere short walk to the center of Highlands reasonably priced comfortable rooms and quiet”

“Paul, the owner, is absolutely amazing. So many beautiful antiques. Breakfast was delightful. We are coming back again next year!”

“Kingwood Resort is an excellent place if you want to get away from it all and avoid interruptions from the outside world; it is a peaceful retreat. However, when I made my reservation, No television cable and entertainment options in room. Unfortunately, issues with the internet and Wi-Fi connection made it impossible to enjoy these features—which are quite important to some of us—even during my one-day stay. The property itself is very clean, quiet, and peaceful. In my view, if they cannot……

“The main inn is charming. The bunkhouse is a different story, and the gap between the two is wide enough that I felt misled by the photos used to sell the property. The room is tiny. Just know a king bed takes up almost all of the floor space, and the only other furniture are small nightstands, a luggage rack, a folding chair, and a closet with a curtain instead of a door. There is no room to unpack or move around comfortably. The dark green paint and trim look moody in photos, but in person……

“The view was great.”

“Beautiful yurt in the woods 🙂”

“This is the cutest cabin, with everything you need to have a lovely, cozy stay in Bryson City. Everything was so new. The porch is gorgeous and we used the fire pit outside—very autumn on purpose. I’m going back as soon as I can:)”

“Great location on the lake. My husband and I kayacked, fished, brought our pup along. We enjoyed sitting on the porch overlooking the lake. The owners were more than welcoming, anticipated our needs before we thought of them. ”

“This place has so much potential. Very cute cabin, but outside area was not as it looked in the pictures. Photos were definitely doctored up to make it seem more secluded, no other house can be seen within those photos. There is a house directly beside, just on the other side of the creek that had 2 dogs running around off leash. Due to the uncertainty of these dogs, we did not stay outside much. As soon as we walked into the cabin, the smell of a very strong air freshener slapped you in the……

“My girlfriend and I stayed at this property during our trip around North Georgia, and we had a wonderful experience! The location was very convenient for exploring nearby attractions such as Helen, Brasstown Bald, and Blood Mountain. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and we especially appreciated the cozy bed-and-breakfast atmosphere and the breakfast provided. Having access to a bathtub and sauna was also a great bonus, especially for relaxing after a long day of hiking……

“Very quaint, nice and friendly hosts and we loved sleeping by the waterfall , oh and the breakfast was awesome!!!”

“This place was excellent with a view that you just have to see for yourself. The host, Jess was so accommodating and always on call. Everything you need is provided. I highly recommend this place. You will not regret it.”
