"A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. Woke up to birdsong and quiet , and a great breakfast in their large conservatory. Service excellent and helpful. Only point of note is if you wish to dine in their partner (next door) restaurant , best to reserve in advance , as it was fully booked (despite being...

Terres de France - Moncontour Active ParkMoncontour
6.0 out of 10, (9 reviews)
"The property is disgusting which we kind of expected from the reviews, we were only staying for 1 night so thought we'd take the risk, we definitely wouldn't have wanted to stay longer than 1 night though!
The area was lovely, kept the kids busy all day with a bouncy castle, beach and park, unfortunately the water slide wasn't open though.
The restaurant and staff were really friendly and helpful.

"J'ai évalué cet établissement au pire puisque bien qu'ayant accepté ma réservation, l'hôtel a refusé mon arrivée tardive (vers 22h) alors que ce n'était pas précisé sur le site d'Expedia
Pour cette raison je ne recommande pas"

Citotel Le Relais Du BellayMontreuil-Bellay
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (88 reviews)
"This is a very attractive hotel in a lovely setting, in the town of Montreuil-Bellay. The facilities are very good, but a restaurant for evening would be a definite bonus. However, the hotel is only a few steps from restaurants. Excellent breakfast. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our visit."

Villa des Glycines
Villa des GlycinesThouars
10/10 Excellent
The property is wonderful and we had the best stay. We didn’t want to leave. The property is a period building that’s been beautifully restored. Our room was spacious and warm. Our bed so comfortable we didn’t want to get up. The host spoilt us for the entire duration of our stay. We will be staying again!!
