“I have stayed in several parador before and this is the worst parador I have been. The air con was not functioning well, mattress not comfortable. Couldn't sleep well for all night. ”

“Some reviewe have mentioned this place feels dated - but i found it wonderful and quite the bargain. Huge room, very modern bathroom, mattress fine, clean as can be. Very helpful and friendly staff - especially Santiago at front desk. The carpets are worn, but other than that it is a gem. You would pay 3x the price to get such a spacious bathroom and room in a more modern hotel. Outstanding location”

“Nice gardens surrounding the house/palace in an isolated natural place inviting to relaxing and enjoy nature. Only 30 minutes to Santoña and other attractions. Restaurant team very friendly but people at reception were not friendly not knowledgeable, so making some situations uneasy. Only breakfast and dinner offered at the hotel restaurants. Food was quite good. A couple of local small restaurants in the town. We likes Casa de Montaña.”

“Stunning! Building architecture is beautiful, location can’t be better just in front of the beach, and is a long beautiful beach great for walks and swimming. Attention was immaculate for sure if I come back to Santander for sure I will choose this hotel for sure.”
