“This is an event hotel, as its name. Kinda far from Vienna city center, and the only place to go nearby is a shopping mall, so-called the biggest one in Europe. However, it is close around 19:00 in general, and not open on Sunday. The hotel is kind of old and needs to be re-newed, while its frequent events making the maintenance kind of difficult. Business in this hotel is ok, but not romantic trip.”

“Interesting property in that it’s a former castle and has old world charm. Nice breakfast buffet everyday. Indoor pool and sauna were quite nice as well. On the flip side, the elevator didn’t work. The room key kept malfunctioning which required getting it reactivated everyday. The property is a bit worn and aging in a few ways. One annoying thing is the lack of power outlets near the bed (just one). Overall a good stay but could’ve been better.”

“Lovely historic hotel with spacious rooms. No air-conditioning but small fans supplied. Most rooms have balcony and park view. Well appointed rooms. Friendly reception staff but reception closes at 6.00pm, so later arrivals collect key from box and dont meet hotel staff until the following day. Restaurant and bar is operated by a separate business, not by the hotel. Breakfast staff are neither welcoming nor attentive. Disappointing breakfast, almost no fresh fruit, none at all one morning, just……

“My sister and I really enjoyed our stay at Karl Wirt. We had the raised toilet seat we had asked for, with a good sized bathroom. We were puzzled by not having a plug for the bathroom basin when we wanted to wash, but the toilet paper came in handy to plug the hole. The other problem seemed to be relating to the air conditioning as we could 't get the room cool enough at times. I know we were their when the temperature outside reached the high 20sC most of the time. We must say that the staff……

“Rommet var greit, badet luktet ikke godt. Litt dårlig romservice med hensyn på bad, søppelbøtte ikke tømt, gjerrig med toalettpapir, måtte spørre om å få, gjerrig med sjampo/dusjsåpe, la ikke igjen en ny, vi måtte rasjonere. Positivt med både vannkoker og kaffemaskin på rommet. Hyggelig personale. Frokost fredag litt skuffende, bra søndag. Fler skåler til frokostblanding med tydelige skår/ødelagte, burde vært kastet. Ikke hygienisk med ødelagt sercvice. Massør var ikke tilgjengelig, det var……
