“Very good location, all staff are helpful and friendly. Room is clean and nice . I left a handbag on the chair in the bar, they help me to keep the bag and try to return to me. Th e car park is not in the hotel , you have to park the car in their parking lot, and call them come to take yr luggage and you walk 2 mins to the hotel.”

“Nice hotel in good location with friendly staff, especially the English man who checked us in - he was very friendly, efficient and helpful and does the hotel credit. Our room was very nice with castle view, the breakfast was reasonable though blighted by a tempermental coffee machine and an agonisingly slow toaster (why are these so common in hotels?). A star deducted for the housekeeping which did not get to our room until 4 pm and failed to replenish toilet roll, face tissues or replace the……

Two good restaurants in the village of Assignan including a great breakfast.. many others within a short driving distance.
