"All our expectations were exceeded in Hotel Orazio. The building itself is historic and has been carefully restored; the breakfast room alone is worth the visit, and the breakfast was generout. Staff were warm and welcoming and happy to share the rich history of the place with us. Our room was great, opening on to a loggia. Everything was spotlessly clean. "
"What a wonderful, quiet sanctuary with the modern facilities and amazing chef it also has the qualities of being able to visit Melfi, which is a wonderful town rich in history. This hotel is worth the trip and you will find you get far more than what you pay for. I highly recommend it."

"We were looking for an out of the way quiet apartment to base a month trip to Italy. I had heard about Calitri from a House Hunters International show on HGTV. The people of the town were lovey....friendly and welcoming to us. I orginally was not going to have a car but I think it would have been very difficult to be in this town with a car to explore surrounding areas. Host was super quick to respond with questions we had. All in all a great month!
