“VRBO owner Filomena Benevento's title should be the "ambassador" of historical city Tricarico! Filomena was gracious for having a late evening dinner with local goodies in the fridge due to our late arrival, to taking us on a tour of her city. Once she discovered we were wine producers from California on a research trip of Nebbiolo, Sangiovese and Aglianico in the Basilicata wine region, she arranged the meeting of local Cantina owners to view their vineyards and very historic cantinas. The property is 5 minute drive from Atena Lucana or from Sala Consilina. Next time we return, we will definitely stay here again. Perfect.”
