“Well, Franco is what really makes the stay. He gives all sorts of tips and advice for what to visit and where to go and even books restaurants for you. That being said the masseria is a bit in the middle of nowhere. The dog Diana is the highlight of the stay. She is always there to welcome you when you return to the property. “The location is very close to the Sassi, which was my main objective. The parking garage was also very close and convenient. Our room was fine, small shower but to be expected in Italy! All good. Now, let me tell you about the sweet host, so helpful! He set up breakfast for us, baked fresh croissants with jams and nutella, made wonderful coffee and offered yogurt, juice, Matera bread ( the best!) we were a group of 6 filling all of his rooms for the night. Perfect stay for us!”
