Op loopafstand (Helenaheuvel) zijn meerdere bewegwijzerde wandelingen te vinden. Hoewel het gebouw zelf wat gedateerd overkomt is het binnen goed onderhouden en netjes. De kamer had echt schoner gekund. De standaardkamer is aan de krappe kant. Voor het (overigens uitstekende) bed langslopen gaat alleen zijwaarts. En wat we vooraf niet goed gezien hadden (staat wel vermeld) is dat het 2 losse bedden zijn.
