Good attentive staff. Complimentary water which we took great advantage of.
Location is great as it is not too far from the National Mall, but gives you a different flavor of Washington with live events and quality restaurants in the area. It is a very populated and noisy area.
Free breakfast is not your typical free breakfast because you have two choices. Either pick from a set menu with about 8 meals to choose from or do the buffet. If you don't order the buffet you are restricted to your meal and one beverage (coffee or juice). You get $40 per person allowance to eat breakfast at their restaurant, but essentially you can only order the one meal. The meals are hearty however, especially the American which I ordered often and had two eggs, two pieces of toast, two sausages or bacon and breakfast potatoes. It was a very filling plate.

First and foremost, THERE IS NO SWIMMING POOL at this hotel. The swimming pool picture on Expedia is from some other hotel. Location is amazing so does the staff and room attendants. Absolutely nothing to do for kids in absence of swimming pool.
