We enjoyed our stay at the Richmond. Convenient location in walking distance to eateries, shopping, botanical gardens etc.
Parking was convenient and included in room rate which was a bonus.

Overall we had an okay stay.
However we were not happy at all about the minimal opening hours of all the areas to have a meal, coffee or just a drink at this property!!!!
Cafe/Coffee shop was only open from 7am to 10am
Skyline Restaurant that they boasted about, also closed all day and only opened at 6pm to 9pm
Lounge/Bar onsite did not open until 4pm and closed at 9pm!!!
(this is all over a weekend stay) 2 nights Friday and Saturday.
Sadly these minimal opening hours really did spoil our stay!!
When booking this property there was no mention of the minimal opening times they offered.
So on the Saturday afternoon we had to leave the property to go out for lunch and that was exactly what we did not want to do!!!!!!

"I had a very good experience at the Riviera hotel.It is a little older but a spacious well equiped room and bathroom. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean with a well stocked mini bar. Also in a convenient location to everything"
