As someone who lives in hotels and have done so for over 12 months, I feel the check in experience could have been better, there was no mention of VIP perks, these are something I look for when booking.
The bathroom had lots of long black hairs on the floor, was unsure if I was in a hotel or a hair salon. The shower cubicle also had hairs stuck to the tiles, very off putting. The bed was just ok, certainly not the most comfortable bed I've slept in but served the purpose.
Room was basic but ok for the price.
Location was ok but really did lack good dining options nearby. The lift struggled to get to the 4th floor, shuddering and vibrating as it tried. Also lift smelt of burnt oil or grease and this was attempted to be covered up at times by overpowering deaderiser that caused many sneezing episodes for me.
Most of the staff on the front desk were friendly and welcoming and housekeeping staff were very nice. Not too impressed when woken at 9am on Saturday morning for room cleaning, let people have a sleep in on the weekend.
Was not told about the VIP included late check-out until I enquired about same and $15 bar credit was not offered until I mentioned that it should be included.
