“Wow, what a gem in Downtown Duluth! I'm sad we couldn't stay longer. Brand new property, very clean and well-appointed with all the comforts of home. Staff were very helpful at check-in and gave detailed instructions on accessing the room, parking etc. Room was beautiful, large and squeaky clean. Bed/pillows were very comfortable and linens absolutely spotless. Great location with easy access to dining, shops and bars. The only things that could have made it better were blackout curtains in the……

“Very unique building. The room had everything we could need. We enjoyed the oldness of it with all the antiques and history. Our room did not have a view but we didn’t mind. Unfortunately the speak Easy and other bar are closed Monday and Tuesday we didn’t realize that. We would return.”

“I really enjoyed staying here. It was a very nicely renovated place made into a nice place to staff. The room was very clean and comfortable. The code to get in worked good. They had a parking space designated for your stay that saves you money with parking.”

“Could not figure out where the parking was. Said parking was behind building but no spaces all day. Did find secure parking down the street next to the casino.”

“Parking situation is very poorly explained and set up. The street markings out front appear to show that you can’t pull up, stop or unload at the main lobby door, and there’s seemingly no concierge. The actual parking garage is on the far side of the block on a one way system, we had to go around twice before we were able to identify the correct access point. Then - the walk just to the lobby to check in, with luggage, is about 300 yards via a bridge, another locked bridge with an intercom, down……

“We enjoyed breakfast in the rotating restaurant on the top level of the hotel. We did not like the permeating odor of marijuana throughout the building. We initially didn't smell it in our rooms but eventually we did as I suppose it was circulating through the HVAC.”

“The air conditioner was directly above the bed, it was loud, and it blew on the bed constantly. The A/C remote was marked "do not use." The mini frig froze all my food and drinks, and the frig made a constant gurgling sound. The room was smaller than I thought it would be; it would be helpful to include dimensions in the description, especially for small rooms that don't feel like you're staying in a mansion. The bathroom was so small that it only held the toilet and a tiny shower stall. ……
