"It is a great hotel. Everything was excellent. My only complaint was in a region that offers so many activities, why can’t hotels offer a pre-packaged to go breakfast like when Covid was around and hotels offered breakfast to go. You would have to request it ahead of time, but we had an appointment for a boat tour 2 hours away and didn’t get our breakfast."

"The lobby area was really nice. The breakfast was very good. The staff was pleasant. I was a little disappointed with the our king suite. The hotel was a renovated old historic building (possibly a warehouse). The kitchen area had a drop ceiling which looked nice. But, when I looked up at the ceiling from the bed there was no drop ceiling and there was this big round recessed circle in the ceiling that was painted but felt like I was sleeping in a warehouse. The pictures on the website looked like there was a TV in the bedroom and the "living/kitchen" area but our room only had a TV in the bedroom. We would stay there again if we are in the Duluth area."

"Great room. Sauna room + two bars on the property were a bonus. Hotel is in a great location to walk to breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Right next to walk-way to go over traffic to conveniently get to Canal Park."

"LOVED the stay here! Only downside was the walkway wasn't ready and that parking was an additional fee. I would not trust leaving my car outside with the amount of homeless people walking all around the area."

"This classic Duluth, MN property is an excellent location, terrific food, best hotel-lake views in the city, and a good value. Hotel is a ‘dated’ yet we had a great time! Beds are comfy and fridge kept the beer and leftovers cold. Plan a little extra time for the elevators when it’s real busy."
