“I booked well in advance and was able to get a twin room with balcony for single use at a very good price. The view from the balcony was NOT picturesque, however it faced a side street it was very quiet. I understand that rooms without balconies face the main road and traffic noise can be a concern. “This was one of our favorite places we stayed in Portugal. The lady who runs this is absolutely wonderful (as well as her pet goat and dogs). She even makes a lovely homemade breakfast, by request, for only 6€ a person. In the morning, we could smell her homemade bread baking.
