“We love Villas Del Rio and have returned 8 . It’s a safe and well cared for Oasis in the middle of Escazú. Convenient to restaurants, shopping and Dental offices across the street. A great place to stay while in San Jose. They provide transportation to and from SJO and free breakfast daily. The staff are friendly and helpful and they make your stay as enjoyable as possible. “This hotel seemed to be mostly well kept. They did not have AC which was a bit of a downside. The staff at the desk does not often speak English, although the manager/owner does, so be prepared to use your Spanish! Getting Uber is convenient and easy to do from the hotel. I had a shuttle that left to my next destination at 2:00pm on check out day, but the hotel did not allow for late checkouts. They were willing to keep my luggage though while I waited. They allowed me to wait at the property.……
