We gave it a try because it looked comfy and was close to the Gouffre de Padirac, but we would go out of our way to stay there again even without the visiting the Gouffre again (which we would probably do anyway) ! We had not planned on the breakfast but SO GLAD we did, an amazing basket of fresh baked breakfast goods, juice, coffee and artisinal jam.”

“This little known gem, situated about 10 minutes from Egletons on the D16, in the delightfully rural Correze, is well worth a visit. If it’s peace, calm and tranquility you seek - this is it. Relatively unknown to the English (we were the first English to stay here) it’s well worth a visit. The hosts are very welcoming and speak English. The facilities are superb - we just wish we could have stayed longer!”

“Absolutely idyllic location, surrounded by greenery with a view down to the lake. Large room in the old part of the castle was clean and beautifully furnished with a large bathroom. The pool is situated in a peaceful part of the grounds and was very relaxed spot to stay with a book. The owners were very helpful and welcoming - we ordered chilled wine on the terrace and a lovely breakfast the next day. Highly recommend staying here.”
