Riu hotel exceeded expectations! Staff was friendly and efficient. Hotel was beautiful and in a nice location. You can most definitely expect the 4-5 star quality here.
I stayed in a family deluxe king room with my partner and it was perfect! Spacious. The room was very clean and had the necessities we needed.
During the day the street is bustling! At night it dies down tremendously but felt safe walking. You are about a 10 min walk to temple bar area or about $7-8 cab ride. Otherwise pubs close “early” around midnight.
I’m not sure who i spoke with on the phone close to midnight at reception but they did take the extra step to try and find me makeup remover!! Very appreciated. What would’ve been a plus is room service being available throughout the night, maybe with some limited options. Would’ve loved a late night bite and a drink.

Check in was easy. My daughter and I arrived in Dublin early in the morning and had no issue accessing early check in. The room was clean, spacious and well equipped. The location was also great. Would definitely return.

There was rose petals under our bed obviously the room hadn’t been cleaned properly. Service at dinner was awful we had to go to the bar to order drinks and the waitress asked if we would like to see the dessert menu we are still waiting on this. Breakfast the next morning was terrible too many people ...
