“My sister and I stayed at The Dairy Barn for my birthday and the best word I can use to describe it is "bucolic". It possessed all of those attributes you look for in a quiet getaway. Rebecca was easy to communicate with and pleasant. We hit the local wineries on the Blue Ridge Parkway, Floyd, New River Trail and other small, quaint towns that dot that area. The fireflies were spectacular after dark as well as the stars. On our last evening there, cows were released to graze in the field next to……

“Enjoyed the cabin and its entirety. Also like the cabin being secluded. The other cabin was close to our cabin. But still had our privacy. Loved the location to the area. We fished crooked creek wildlife management area. Definitely a good price for location and compared to others. Thank you for the welcoming the day we checked in. Then following up the day after. “After a long day of travel, my wife and I were looking forward to spending some time in the woods, under the stars. However, the entire bus was filthy,(except for the sheets) the place smelled awful...smoky, musty and like the whole barn had lived in it at some point. It was muggy and quite honestly, kinda seemed like a place you might come away with bedbugs or maybe even lice...nothing was mowed or weed whacked, the hammock was moldy and there was dirty dishes sitting on the table outside……

“The cabin was adorable. It was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the surrounding areas were perfect. We went there on our anniversary and really enjoyed the cozy cabin. The owner was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. Easy to access a quick to respond. We’ll definitely come back.”
