“Pros: Villa was perfect, pool was perfect and the host was perfect. I have never before rented a villa that matched the description so perfectly. Not only that but the beds were very comfortable, the pillows were good and all the appliances and cutlery/crockery were spotless. The villa was spotless on arrival. The one request we had was dealt with by Cristina, the host, immediately. Almayate itself has a good supermarket, five or six bars and restaurants and is only 2.5km outside of Torre del……

“The hotel is well situated, just off the pedestrian street and about 2 lines back from the beach promenade. There are plenty of bars and restaurants around. The room was clean, spacious and had a good size balcony overlooking a side street. The reception staff spoke excellent English and could provide information if needed. The only small negative point is that the tea/coffee supply is a “welcome gift” and not necessarily replaced. Definitely worth making “friends” with housekeeping!! We……
