"We had a wonderful week, based at Jessamine cottage, with helpful communication from the owner.Everything that we needed was provided, as well as a very generous welcome hamper. The cottage is very comfortable and clean, and in a good quiet location. We used the walking leaflets and books for inspiration. "Extremely peaceful, quiet and relaxing. Accommodation spotless, comfortable and cosy. Everything you have at home was available in the chalet, including extra tea/coffee, sugar and a carton of milk. Nothing left to chance and the small touches - like a gift of two mugs, pens and stationery - greatly appreciated. Hosts very communicative and kept in touch throughout our stay. Top Alrick Hotel Reviews

The Angus Hotel & Spa by Compass Hospitality

8/10 Good

"Breakfast"

Fisher's Hotel

8/10 Good

"Room was lovely however bedside lights not bright enough to read, lovely view from room, grounds immaculate, had fun watching remote lawnmower.😂 Disappointing wait for order to be taken in main restaurant and meal was variable, my starter was excellent, fried prawns and plentiful, my husbands scallops, though tasty, were in short supply, 2, had to share my prawns with him. Main course, my lemon sole was disappointing but plentiful again, husbands duck tough and leathery, again shared mine with him. In the morning however, the breakfast was first class, an excellent selection for all tastes, well done to all. A very pleasant stay and would definitely go back though probably eat dinner out."

McKays Hotel Bar & Restaurant

10/10 Excellent

"I gifted a 2 night stay for my dad and his partner, they stayed in superior double room, they had a lovely time, said the bed was large and comfie and bathroom was a great size, the extra touches with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel was lovely, they really enjoyed their breakfast, plenty of choice on the buffet and the hot food was hot, they also said they enjoyed their evening meal in the restaurant, great sized portions, evening entertainment was a bonus, staff were lovely, very friendly, well done mackays thanks for making their stay so enjoyable,"

The Bridge of Cally Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"A little gem of a hotel. The cost of the room was much lower than any of the other hotels I stayed in on my week long tour of Scotland, but quality of the stay was up there with the best of them. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff friendly, cheerful and helpful and the restaurant was excellent. My evening meal was very tasty and the breakfast was cooked to order, so all elements of the "Full Scottish" were tasty and fresh, unlike some other hotels who batch cook breakfast items and leave them to dry out under heat lamps all morning. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Bridge of Cally hotel to anyone, and would be happy to return in future."
