“Hotel Akapana is a beautiful place to stay while visiting Tiwanaku. A grand hotel located in front of Tiwanaku Archeological Site, this place provides everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owner/manager is warm, friendly, attentive and while a language barrier existed, google translate and big smiles bridge that gap. A wonderful host indeed! The hotel has seen its glory days but still offers comfort, security and a good place to rest. We stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our……

“Facilities very nice, the view, the beds were great but hot water not working well, only staff we met, left in the rush to social event and didn’t come back at all so neighbors had to fix breakfast for us in our room because there were no key to get in dining room , access with luggage also difficult because it is located a the top of the mountain ”

“Besonders unfreundliche Angestellte, das Zimmer war unfassbar dreckig und verbraucht, die Bettwäsche nicht gewechselt und nicht sauber, die Möbel war kaputt und nicht zu gebrauchen,die Mülleimer waren noch voll vom Vorgänger, die Mülleimer in der Toilette waren noch voll mit benutztem Toilettenpapier - einfach alles nur widerlich!! Der Allgemeinzustand ist fatal. Alles so dreckig und verratzt! ”
