“Unfortunately we would not return to this house. We loved the proximity to beach and the lake view from the upstairs bedroom, and appreciated the upstairs AC unit. That was about all we were able to enjoy… the place was very dirty, dishes weren’t clean, throw blankets were not washed and had awful smells. Shower was small with no soap, shampoo, etc. There were SO many bugs both outside and inside, which I’m sure is just a seasonal May thing and not the property owner’s fault. However, there were……

“I’m very disappointed with this stay and feel it’s important to share my experience for future guests.While early check-in was offered, the access code was not provided at that time, causing unnecessary confusion. Once I did receive the code, I was informed that the hot water “may not be working,” which is a major concern for any stay.Upon arrival, the property was not thoroughly cleaned. There was visible rust in the toilet, as well as sand and dirt in the shower. Additionally, the kitchen sink……

“The employee that checked us in was pleasant. The room was basic but clean-ish. I say that because yes, the toilet and sink were clean but around the light switches, floor corners, door handles etc were dirty. Not a deal breaker, just noticed. The room had a fridge, microwave and plug ins for electronics. Overall, a decent room for the price. Would stay there again,at this time of year. Im sure during the summer the price might be higher and then it wouldnt be worth it to me.”

“My husband and I spent the weekend here, and it was absolutely wonderful. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and such a refreshing escape from the city. We enjoyed watching the birds, but the highlight for me was seeing the baby deer roaming around. It was magical. At night, the stars were breathtaking, and the quiet made it even more special. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Sam, the owner, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Truly a perfect stay. We can’t wait to……
