“We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Mio while staying at this Cozy Cabin! It is cozy indeed and quite comfortable. The hosts have been thoughtful in providing equipment and amenities that can be used as the weather allows. We stayed during a beautiful snowy time. I look forward to coming back in warm weather to enjoy what the Ausable River has to offer.”

“Overnight visit”

“This cute little country house is perfect for my long weekends and vacay to Tawas for lots of fun and family time. The beds are comfy, the house is very clean and it's so nice and quiet out there, yet just a short 10 minute drive to the marina. The owners are responsive and very nice. The extra's , the coffee and snacks and bathroom provisions are nice because I always forget something. I will be back and look forward to staying here again. I am missing it already.”

“Zeron Island is absolutely beautiful! The home is exactly as pictured. We kept remarking at how clean everything was. Even the outdoor bathroom. Not a cobweb to be found. Our pups loved the trail through the woods, and it was so nice to open the door and let them run. We all had a wonderful time. We will definitely be back!! PS..the photos I have of the Island, sunset and sunrise are gorgeous.”

“Patty, the neighbor and helper, is AWESOME! The retreat was so good - place is beautiful, they loved the red light sauna, fireplace was on most of the stay, we walked the lumberman’s monument trails (beautiful), saw eagles, ate on the deck every day… Only wish would be that we could’ve rented the hot tub for only 2-3 nights instead of all nights of the stay (all or none wasn’t the best for us). Wonderful! Would definitely come back!”

“This cabin was SO CLEAN and cozy! It smelled so nice when we walked in, there wasn’t a speck of dust anywhere, the beds and couches were super comfy, and the sheets were the softest sheets I’ve ever slept on. They had everything we needed and even had shower stuff if you forgot yours. Ive already recommended this cabin to a few people and we just got home lol. I will be coming back!”

“Views beautiful. Very serene & quiet, loved that. Nothing to do up there, which was fine with me. TV & cable, very out dated, if any. Bathroom needs an overhaul. Bugs in their. Deck needs a hand rail. First step is too steep. For a "To do nothing weekend " it was perfect, pretty much stayed outside. Never left the property, other than go to the store.”
