Find hotels in Alyki from $53

The best area to stay in Alyki for most travelers is the central part of the village, particularly around the main beach and the small port.

This area is the heart of Alyki, offering easy access to the main sandy beach, which is well-organized with sunbeds and umbrellas. The waterfront promenade, lined with tavernas and cafes, stretches along the bay, providing pleasant views of the sea and the fishing boats. The small port at one end of the promenade is where you can find local fishermen and occasional boat trips. This central location is ideal for couples seeking a relaxed seaside vacation with dining options right at their doorstep.

For families, staying near the main beach is also highly recommended. The shallow, calm waters of the bay are suitable for children to play in, and the convenience of having restaurants and snack bars nearby makes meal times easy.

The best time to visit Alyki is during the shoulder seasons of late spring (May to early June) and early autumn (September to early October).

During these periods, the weather is pleasantly warm and sunny, ideal for enjoying the beaches and outdoor activities without the peak summer crowds. You'll find comfortable temperatures for swimming and exploring the area's natural beauty. These months offer a more relaxed experience, making it great for couples seeking a tranquil escape or solo travelers looking for a peaceful retreat.

The peak summer months of July and August are also popular, offering consistently hot weather and a bustling atmosphere. This time is particularly suitable for families, as the sea is at its warmest, and all local facilities are fully operational.
