I loved the decorations and the outside decor of the motel. It was very clean and I wasn’t scared to shower in the shower. Usually in motels that we’ve stayed at it’s very sketchy, but this one is super nice.

Big Texan King Suite treats you royally. BIG open Room with Big Screen TV & enough seating for 6 or more to view it if necessary. Comfy King Size Bed.....Shower that actually had great water pressure & stayed HOT throughout. Plenty of Towels!!!!

The hotel is very old and has a lot of charm, but the stairs are rickety. Also, the balcony has worn down edges so I have to wonder when it was inspected last.

The rooms has been updated but our room has saloon doors between bedroom and bathroom which was irritating to go they multiple times. The beds were firm but clean. Mary was super nice

Dog poo in pet fenced encloser. No shade or umberlas in pool area so we did not swim as exposed to full sun Parking spaces should be numbered for each room - not fun when when you have suit cases & only parks far away from room. No smoking area to ge able to sit down not pleasent to go out to road side to have a smoke - did not feel safe out there!

Office staff was wonderful, pet could stay for $20, had coffee in the office. We had a trailer and parking was awful, need parking just for hotel guests who have trailers. Loved the keyless entry and check in. Ordered take out from the restaurant, food was great. Staff wasn't very friendly at the to go counter and it would make sense to give silverware and napkins with a to go order. Luckily we had some in our truck. We did find some in the coffee drawer the next morning. Room was very clean, bed was hard and we woke up sore. The shower was amazing though and they had nice charging stations for your phone and a sound machine. This was our second stay here, we might try somewhere different next time though due to the hard bed, parking and getting food with no utensils.

This is our second time here on our drive to Colorado. We love the unique kitschy vibe of this motel! We always walk across to have a great steak at the Big Texan. Location is great and staff always friendly. Highly recommend. We will be back.
